Birth

Artorius Perim (ArtyP) was a citizen of Canada and New Zealand. He was born on Day 612 of the New World.

Politics

Canada

During his first month in Canada Artorius Perim had been elected into becoming a Congress Member for British Columbia under the Democratic Action League in August 2009 with a mere 4 votes.

Artorius Perim failed to be re-elected in British Columbia into Congress in September 2009, losing with only 2 votes.

Artorius Perim ran for Congress again in New Brunswick in October 2009, but lost again with only 2 votes.

Finally, Artorius Perim went back to British Columbia with hopes of being elected again, and prevailed. In November 2009 was one of the most heated elections for Congress between TaiwanPanda, Scrabman and Artorius Perim. In the morning Artorius Perim was in 2nd place, with a congress seat, trailing TaiwanPanda until later when he fell to third place, losing the congressional seat to Scrabman. Just hours before the election ended, Artorius Perim gained up to 5 votes, and passed Scrabman to gain second place and finished with a tie to TaiwanPanda with a total of 19 votes and won a congress seat.

Artorius Perim also became the Canadian Ambassador to Colombia and Venezuela in August 2009.

On September 10, 2009, Derek Harland, Minister of State of Canada, appointed Artorius Perim as acting Minister of Health and Social Services after former Minister of Health and Social Services, emilio sanchez resigned.

On July 9th, 2010 Congress had elected Artorius Perim to the office of Attorney General, replacing Olivermellors.

On August 5th, 2010 Artorius Perim resigned his post as Attorney General and instead joined the Acacia Mason Administration as Minister of Health and Human Services for the term.

On January 25th, 2011 after almost 6 months of staying out of Federal Government positions, Artorius Perim reclaimed his seat as a Congress member of British Columbia by winning a hotly contested Wildcard.

On February 25th, 2011 Artorius Perim was determined to be re-elected and continue for a consecutive term in British Columbia. His campaign was successful, winning a second place seat, tied with Alexander Rearden for 12 votes.

The Democratic Action League

Artorius Perim has been a loyal member of the Democratic Action League the instant he raised to level 6.

Artorius Perim was also the Charity Director of the Democratic Action League from October 7th, 2009 to December.

Party president Campaigns

Artorius Perim ran for Party president of the Democratic Action League on September 15th, 2009. He lost, ending up in the 3rd place with 26 votes, 18.98% of the vote. He placed ahead of Karsten Skeries, but behind Reed Dotto and winner Ayeshan Dakseus.

Artorius Perim attempted again to run for Party president of the Democratic Action League on November 15th, 2009. He lost again, ending up on the 2nd place with 87 votes, 29% of the vote. He placed ahead of candidates Alois Hammer, Jeremiah Jones and Lancx. Artorius Perim lost to Vice-President Karsten Skeries.

Artorius Perim ran for Party president of the Democratic Action League for a third time on January 15th, 2010. He ended up in the 3rd place, with 16 votes and place behind nea milosu with 28 votes and Citizen B with 177 votes.

Artorius Perim ran yet again for Party president of the Democratic Action League for the fourth time on March 15th, 2010. He ended up in the 3rd place with 34 votes, 21.94% of the vote. He placed ahead of Salama-Yassine (7 votes, 4.52%) but behind Lan Macness (54 votes, 34.84%) and the winner nea milosu with 60 votes, 38.71% of the vote.

Artorius Perim ran his 5th try for Party president of the Democratic Action League. This time, Artorius put his best effort forward to attempt to win on June 15th, 2010. In the end outcome, he placed 3rd again with 62 votes and 23.85% of the vote. He became behind The Dark Lord Himself who had 67 votes with 25.77% of the vote and behind the winner, Lan Macness who reached 120 votes with 46.15% of the vote. Due to confusion and not a proper understanding of DAL Election Rules, some votes were easier to obtain for other candidates and cast to another candidate due to Mass PMing which was not allowed. The day was not a total loss, seeing as Artorius had gained valuable election skills and he had been offered the position of Vice President of the DAL, which he gladly accepted.

Perim ran for his 6th and final try for Party President of the Democratic Action League on August 15, 2010. Instead of facing off against any regular opponent, Artorius Perim was against a PTOer from another party who entered the race 10 hours prior. Jbdivinus campaigned for 10 hours, and attempted to Mass PM the entire party. Once the PTO threat was realised, the entire party worked hard to bring in as many voters as possible. Jbdivinus and his voters from outside the DAL were just as strong as Perim's allies who had come to help. Throughout the voting day, Artorius Perim and Jbdivinus were neck and neck with votes. As the day neared the end, Jbdivinus had pulled ahead by almost 20 votes. In the final hours, Perim and his allies were able to gain some votes by recruiting some other players. By the end, once the dust had settled the election ended in a tie of 123-123 votes between the both of them. Due to eRepublik Game Mechanics, Jbdivinus was placed as the winner because he had more experience points. Much mud slinging and illegal techniques were used in the election.

For the next month after the PTO election of August 15th, 2010 the DAL had gone through some major compromise. Artorius Perim was named Vice President of the DAL once again for about 2 weeks of the term. By end of it all, Artorius Perim was done with DAL politics and decided to take a rest after this huge mess. He decided it was time to emigrate, and what better time to emigrate than a new release of eNations!

Post-New Zealand

Artorius Perim returned to the Democratic Action League after the chaos that took over the island nation of New Zealand. He took a more active role in Politics with the DAL and claimed a Congress seat in British Columbia on January 25th, 2011 and was reelected in February. He then lost re-election in March and went on to win a seat in Shannon in April of 2011.

Following Dominik's successful Party President campaign, the first in-forum poll, Artorius Perim was selected as the Senior Vice President on February 12, 2011, along with Janos Leinport who was selected as Junior Vice President.

After Janos Leinport was impeached as Party President due to his plans to destroy DAL, Perim was chosen as the new Interim Party President on April 6th and went on to his major run for Party President on the 15th. He was up against TemujinBC, who was planning to politically take over the party. After hard work and rallying of voters, by the end of the day, Artorius Perim had finally been elected Party President with a majority vote of 36 - 32 - 2 (Nea Milosu). Following the election, Artorius Perim had made major contributions to the party and the party was laid to rest by the end of his term.

Artorius Perim had originally made a deal with Rylde of the MDP that said that Rylde would gather votes for Perim, so he could defeat TemujinBC and in return, Rylde would get to choose who DAL's CP nomination would be. Unfortunately, Artorius did not notify the party about this deal and tried to deal with it on his own. Kazuo Leblanc had won the party's nomination over Muglack but Rylde had wanted Artorius to put Muglack as the party's CP candidate. After taking some time to figure out what to do, Perim decided to stick with the party's decision of LeBlanc. This ultimately forced the MDP to declare war on the DAL. Kazuo Leblanc had won the election and for the next month, Rylde and Muglack did everything they could to destroy the DAL. By the end of Perim's term, the party was in ruins and there was no hope to save it. There were attempts to prevent a PTO at the next Party President elections, but it had failed. After this ordeal, Artorius had decided to take another leave from eRepublik.

CanVision Party

Artorius Perim had started to visit eRepublik every few days of Summer 2011 and by mid-August he decided to become more active again. He decided to start anew with his political party. By this time, the Canadian Empire Party was left in dust and Perim saw this as an opportunity to take over it at the next Party Presidential elections. On August 14th the current Party President resigned and Perim was left with the party. The next day, Artorius had won the election over Tantis, 1 - 1 since he had more experience.

Perim has been growing the party ever since, trying to get people to join and will soon create a discussion area for the party, publish a full platform and make a run for Country President. The peak of the party occurred in October and November 2011, when Canada was under fire from a foreign PTO group and the CanVision Party was needed to reach the Top 5 to prevent PTOers from running for Congress. Once reaching the Top 5, they elected 7 members into Congress on October 25th, including Artorius Perim.

In November, Venoms III took the reigns as Party President and because of his inactivity, he crippled the party and the CVP suffered. Following that, on December 15th, nucksalltheway PTO'd the party which hurt CanVision and destroyed their member base. Since the election of the official Party President, Chewytaz, the party started to rebuild.

On February 3rd, Chewytaz resigned as Party President due to her error. Artorius Perim was discontent with the current state of the CVP and ran for Party President to regain hold of the party and drive to its original goals. It is believed that he stayed in the party until the party was merged into United Party of Canada.

Life in New Zealand

After immigrating into New Zealand on Day 1,051 Artorius Perim became one of the first Canadians to enter the new nation. He was quickly admitted into the Provisional Government of New Zealand under Myles Robinson, the Provisional Leader at the time. Perim became the only Canadian representative in the multicultural Provisional Cabinet as Minister of Education on October 1st, 2010.

Once New Zealand had elected its first Prime Minister, Calbe, Artorius Perim was asked to become the Minister of Public Relations on November 5th, 2010.

During the PTO of New Zealand, at the beginning of December 2010, a plan was set in motion to flee the Country until they were better prepared to take the control back. Since the incoming Serbians were just too large in numbers to deal with, many of the founding New Zealanders left the quiet islands until further notice. Artorius Perim had travelled back to Canada.

During his short stay in New Zealand, Artorius was a member of the Peace 'n' Prosperity Party.

The Perim Empire (June 1, 2010 - N/A)

Books.jpg This page contains fictional information. (What's this?)

On June 1st, 2010, Artorius Perim had invaded British Columbia with an army of just two thousand. He conquered Vancouver and went onto capture the capital, Victoria. The Canadian government was powerless against his army. On June 1st, 2010, The Perim Empire rose and annexed British Columbia. This marked the first Imperial control of British Columbia since John Wilkmot, Count of British Columbia, who had died in April 2009, over a year and one month prior.

With the death of Uraczak, 4th King of Canada hailing from the House of Wilkmot, on Day 950, an heir of the throne was to be chosen from the leaders of the three houses. However, the leaders of the three houses, Uraczak (House of Wilkmot, Derek Harland (House of Reardan), and Ayeshan Dakseus (House of Hagen) are all dead the next king was to be chosen by the Secret Ancient Council of RFP.

Since the previous King was of the House of Wilkmot, the heir would hail from there too. Artorius Perim is the nephew of Uraczak, and the closest thing of a Royal background, considering he was the Emperor of British Columbia. On February 6th, the Secret Ancient Council of RFP held the coronation of King Artorius Perim I the Transcendent, 5th King of Canada.

Following the coronation, The Perim Empire expanded from just British Columbia to all corners of Canada. Artorius Perim now ruled over British Columbia with Absolute control and as a constitutional monarch of the rest of Canada.

Military Career

The Crimson Order

Upon reviewing his political career, Artorius Perim decided to balance out his life by focusing solely on politics but also take part in the military aspect of the game. On March 6th 2011, Artorius Perim joined the Crimson Canucks and was initiated into the newly formed 8th Legion The Crimson Fist.

After taking a break from the Democratic Action League, Artorius Perim took a break from The Crimson Order. As of August 2011, Artorius Perim rejoined TCO as a low key member.

Media

The Western Herald is the newspaper owned and published by Artorius Perim. Later it was renamed to The Ocolus.

Goals

Artorius Perim hopes to one day create his own political party and run for CP of either New Zealand or Canada.
