Backoovan is a citizen of Serbia. He joined eRepublik on 16th of May 2009.
He is founder of Stranka Narodnog Jedinstva and was party president on several occasions. In December 2015 Stranka Narodnog Jedinstva has joined other political factors to form Srpski narodni front and Backoovan became the party councillor.

Politics
He served 8 terms as a congress member in Serbia and was the co-founder of Bezbednosno-Informativna Agencija (Serbian inteligence agency) and is a four-times former president of Stranka Zdravog Razuma, a top 5 party in Serbia. In July 2014 he formed a new party by the name of Stranka Narodnog Jedinstva, and achieved a fast promotion to the top 10 party list with more than 140 members. After a few months party sliped under and due to the lack of activity it has had less than 30 members and its rank was 17th in eSerbia. In December 2015 the party has ended its existence after becoming part of Srpski narodni front where Backoovan became the party councillor.
Military
He has achieved a military rank of
