Balash was a citizen of Norway but Iranian nationality who moved to China during its fight for independence. He became the only president of independent China before it was taken over by Iran.

While he helped the first independent China become stronger, he is not remembered for this. For the most part, he is remembered for his awful deed during the Iranian invasion. After a few token fights, Balash pressed the 'retreat' button, and gave the capital of China to Iran.
