A Mutual Protection Pact (MPP) is a agreement between two countries. You will get automatically an ally in case of war. This agreement is favourable as you can count on the other partners for defense in case you are attacked. On the other hand, you will be forced to fight against any attacker of the countries linked by this agreement. Even if that attacker is a partner of your country in another Mutual Protection Pact.
- MPP signed by both Presidents will become active after 3 days, and it will protect the 2 countries just for the wars declared after the 3 days have passed;
- MPP that is cancelled will still remain valid for a period of 3 days;
- MPP is not valid when a situation just like the 2nd one presented here happens
- Country Presidents will be able to cancel any Congress proposal before it is passed or rejected. Cancelling a war proposal will give back 75% of the cost of the war. Rejecting a war proposal will give back 100%.
Don't forget that the proposals become valid at 00:10 am (eRepublik time) at least 24 hours (and 10 minutes) after the Congress vote.
