Centere-Left Netherlands is one of the 5 political parties of the Netherlands, It was one of the new parties founded after the 3 month '1 party-policy' intended to counter PTO's. Its creation was the brainchild of the late Jack Ritell, an industrialist and philanthropist who was concerned about the homogenous nature of eNL political discourse. By his design, CLN, as was committed to progessive politics and was oriented towards fostering an open, just and fair society for all citizens.

When Jack Ritell decided to leave the game, he entrusted the future of the party to eNL progessivist Godhead Pierre Delvaux. Delvaux has represnted CLN in the CP election, recruited high profile new members such as Tonie112 and Shakerr, and overseen the rapid growth of membership numbers.

CLN has been the subject of much debate and criticism in the eNL press, which indicates the establishment parties are worried about the emergence of a new political force.
