Charels McCoy

Charels McCoy joined in September of 2008, before the changes of the New World were made, such as the resistance war module. He joined and became a member of Ireland, as his first pick Germany was under occupation by the forces of Sweden.
When he was able, he joined the Irish Union Party and a month later ran for mayor of The Northwest. Shortly afterwards, he became burdened by the real world for five months. When he returned in February of 2009, he moved to Rhineland-Palatinate in the recently liberated Germany.
He joined the Austro-German Democratic Union and ran for Congress in Rhineland-Palatinate. He won with 8 votes to Claus Graf Von Stauufenberg's 2. His presentation, while not long, and not filled with any heartwarming or tear-jerking moments (to the player's knowledge) was better than his opponents, who seemed to lack anything to say to sway the voters.

| “ I, Charels McCoy of the German Democratic Union Party, hereby present to Shoot, President of the GDU party, my Presentation for running in Congress. I wish to do my best to help better the German people as a whole as well as push the issues that are the most important to the citizens Residing in Rhineland-Palatinate. I will do my best to put forward the voices of Rhineland-Palatinate to the government in Berlin, and will do my best to improve relations with Germany's neighbors, which seem to be deteriorating as we speak. I will take every proposal put forward into careful consideration, to make sure the proposal will truly benefit the people of Germany as a whole, and not merely a select group. But I will not sit and stall. I will act in swiftness, and I will even go as far to say that I will put the people's needs ahead of that of the Governments and the GDU. Whether or not I am elected, I will continue to do my best for the people of Rhineland-Palatinate, and the rest of Germany!! ” |
In March, he was elected again, but this time he was in the second seat, as he was only 1 vote below Juran. Nevertheless, he did his best to represent the people of his region.
He approved of the union between Germany and Austria and became an avid supporter for it. However, his feelings towards neutrality would bring him into an interesting conflict with several congressmen and the president, Isy.
In late March, when Germany-Austria joined ATLANTIS, Charles was infuriated, and soon proposed the Impeachment of Isy when resistance quickly began in Carinthia.
The impeachment was not successful, however, Charles pointed out to those who said, essentially, what he was doing was wrong, that not all of Congress agreed with Isy's decision, especially emphasizing that Neutrality would have worked in the end.
Once the impeachment was rejected, he acknowledged its failure and accepted it, staying by his opinions. He believed that he had committed political suicide with his proposal, but thus far, has seen no evidence of this.
This could be because he did turn and join his fellow citizens in doing what he could o salve the division of the German people, urging them to unite in the crisis and repulse PEACE and its imperialistic forces.
In the first full week of April, with a loan from the Bundesbank, he formed the Austro-German National Democratic Party, a party which he hopes will bring change and strength to the Austro-German people. One of the goals of his party was the future restoring of the Union, which has almost collapsed due to the machinations of PEACE.
