The Supreme Court of Canada confirmed that there were no case against Samuel de Champlain, and dismissed false accusations. After a media uproar, the Attorney General, Adasko, claimed he had been pressured by Chucky to make the investigation go by quick. Chucky denied the charges, and Adasko later resigned. Samuel de Champlain then become a five-time Congressman and during his 4 terms as Union Nationale party president, he manage the rise of the party to the second position of the eCanada top 5.
Congressman Spencer Magee would propose impeachment against Chucky over the issue (against Congressional rules), which saw a number of players, mostly from the Democratic Action League and the Canadian Progressive Front vote yes. It did not garner enough votes to pass though.
Chucky would not seek reelection, tired of the politics.
