Mattio asks his readers to comment with the sentence Ik ben levenloos en eet een besje (I have no life and eat a berry). Under the ones that comment this, he raffles bread. At almost every article, Mattio raffles something. Sometimes just bread, sometimes more stuff.

Events
With Nederlands Nieuws, Mattio has organized a number of events.
- The February CP-debate, on February the 3rd. This debate was held on IRC under Mattio's supervision. CP candidates Joep O and NoTie112 discussed various subjects during the debate.
- The February Census of the Netherlands, from February the 9th to the 10th. This census gave a clear image on the player activity in the Netherlands.
Knight in the order of Oranje-Nassau
For his activities with Nederlands Nieuws, Mattio received the medal of the Knight in the order of Oranje-Nassau from president NoTie112 on day 1.537.
