The Communist Party of the Soviet Union was a political party in Russia. When the CPSE was elected in April 2008, Russian Government and economics were radically changed.

Structure

Naturally the political structure of the CPSE was based off the original Soviet model with a few modifications.

  1. The party wanted to implement a more strict sense of direct democracy, something that the real world Soviet Russia seemed to ignore as time went on.
  2. The party felt the need to remove the power the leader had over the party, as such, all Commissar elections were held to the Party Congress and not chosen by the party leader.
  3. Remove the power of the Secretariat. Their ability to single handedly select and create the Political Bureau was deemed unnecessary and tended toward a large power vacuum.

With those ground rules set the party went to work.

Ideal structure of the CPSE and as a result Russia

From the bottom the Party Congress (ideally the entire country) selects everything in the party. From the General Secretary of the CPSE to the GOSPLAN General Managers, and the Central Committee, the Party Congress ultimately had complete control over the policies of the nation. Exactly the way the CPSE wanted it to be. But even with this idealized structure set into place modifications were still made because of lack of party members.

The Central Committee of the CPSE was completely removed and combined with The Party Congress. Also, the Secretariat and Political Bureau was merged into one single party. As much as the party tried to separate the two branches of the administration, participation was minimal and people seemed to trust the leadership, finding no desire or need to have the two be separate.

From there the structure runs like a true democracy. The Political Bureau was, in practicality, moderators of the CPSE forums, the true meat and bones of the party, from here the entire nation were given its direction and true purpose. All bills, ideas, decisions, important changes in policy; was created by the Political Bureau and then proposed to The Party Congress. Sometimes the Political Bureau required 75% “Yes,” other times a simple majority. However, the party was so focused and trusting of its leadership no single proposal by the Political Bureau was ever rejected by The Party Congress.

Within the interior bureaucracy the following positions were held:

March:

  • General Secretary: Generalissimo
  • Secretariat: Manifesto
  • Secretariat: HateBot
  • Secretariat: Alex Ivanov

April:

  • General Secretary: Manifesto
  • Commissar of Defense: Generalissimo
  • Commissar of Foreign Affairs: Alex Ivanov
  • Commissar of Trade and Industry: HateBot
  • Secretariat: HateBot
  • Secretariat: Alex Ivanov
  • Secretariat: SeriyVolk

May:

  • General Secretary: Manifesto
  • Commissar of Defense: Generalissimo
  • Commissar of Foreign Affairs: Alex Ivanov
  • Commissar of Trade and Industry: HateBot
  • Secretariat: HateBot
  • Secretariat: Alex Ivanov
  • Secretariat: SeriyVolk

Military

Before the CPSE took power, the FTM attempted to created a group of elite soldiers known as the Spetznaz, but it was a failure, all the active members in the country were politicians and the rest of the populace was uninterested (since war wasn't implemented at the time). During CPSE rule the military saw some improvement other than increased population and production of weapons with reduced cost during the war with Norway, the CPSE attempted to create military districts and a more focused and organized army. Russia quickly lost, however, as the lack of citizens, no matter how strong, were unable to stop the advancing Norwegians.

Names

"The Communist Party of the Soviet Empire" is now named "The Red Resistance Front." Since the destruction of their country they have since continued their efforts to return/restore their Motherland, regardless of the cost to their reputation. On April 23rd the CPSE made a name change to The Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) to reflect the true nature of their beliefs.
