A member of Congress can propose a law to give money to an organization from the country accounts. On the Donate page in country administration the Member of Congress has the next form:
- input organization name;
- input amount (at least 10 Gold or currency, maximum amount of 99.999 Gold or currency);
- select currency;
- input debate link.
When the law is proposed, the Gold/currency is removed from the country account.
When a member of congress proposes a sum of money to be donated to an organization, he/she must make sure that the country accounts still have enough money left to cover citizen fee costs for the next 500 new citizens in that country.
If the country doesn't have the necessary amount of Gold, the Member of Congress will see the following message: "The country does not have the necessary amount of Gold in the account to print this amount of currency."
If the organization does not exist, the Member of Congress will see the following message: "The Organization that you are trying to donate money does not exist."
If the law is voted and accepted than the organization will receive the proposed amount of money (and an alert). If the law is rejected, the Gold/currency is added back to the country accounts.
