He's first Military Unit (MU) as active member was Negev where he get to be Captain of the second regiment until the fusion between ISA and Negev into one force: 1948.

In 1948 he is at the 1st regiment and was propose to him to be Captain of one of the lowers regiments, but he refuse to accepet until he get's more experience.
