Demokratiska Partiet, or Democratic Party, was a gathering of libertarian thinkers within the realm of Sweden. Goal, and duty, was to achieve a society based on liberty and free choice. The highest, most divine, moral one could ever rely on is the moral of always following one's duty. And the only duty one has, is the duty to always let liberty roam freely without limitation in society.
They followed the philosophy that once was preached by Immanuel Kant, enhanced by Ayn Rand.
"If you saw Atlas, the giant who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of his strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down upon his shoulders --- what would you tell him to do?"
The party was later renamed Cogito Ergo Doleo.
