Biography
Derphoof was born on May 24th, 2009.
Soon after, he would be attentive and learn the ways, but fell into state of inactivity due to other commitments. During 2012, his interest was re-ignited and he became more involved in the New World. Not long after, he would become involved in Canadian media and politics, becoming an active member of the Canadian Progressive Front. After a couple terms as both a congressman and president of Canada, he would move to the USA, where he resides today.
Politics
Minister of Information
During the Wally Cleaver Administration, Derphoof took up the position of Minister of Information, reporting on all kinds of government activities. During this time he reported on a surprising MPP between Canada and Indonesia, as well as a lack of MU Funding distribution. However, in disagreeing with the way policy was being conducted by the administration, he promptly resigned from the post on September 18th, 13 days into the term.
President of Canada
Following his short stint as the Minister of Information, he was elected President of Canada on October 5th, 2012. He ran on a platform mainly based on foreign affairs, as Canada was without an alliance at the time. During the campaign he said that he would explore the possibility of being Pro-CTRL while also promising Canada a war. However, after seeing the true instability of CTRL, he told Canada that they would be keeping the EDEN MPPs and looking at the possibility of EDEN membership. Soon after, to help drain ONE damage from battles in Portugal and Colombia, he would declare war on Spain while also telling Canada that they would be wiped as a consequence. Although Colombia obtained a congress, Portugal and Canada did not, as they were both wiped.
Derphoof, shortly before his second term, would announce his intentions to put Canada on the path to membership in the Circle of Trust. At the same time, Ireland was requesting a TW because they had not had a war in some time. Derphoof obliged to their request and NE'd Ireland to begin the TW. In doing this, they lost many of their MPP's which also set the stage for discussions in Congress about joining CoT. However, in believing that he could not drum up the 66% vote of support needed to join the alliance, he abandoned the plan and began to re-sign the EDEN MPP's. Following the close of the Irish TW, Canada was quite complacent for the rest of the month as nothing of note occurred.
