Desu Workers' Party

The Desu Workers' Party was a Political Party in Japan.
Formed on the 4th of January 2010, the Desu Workers' Party existed to spread the almighty word of the Divine One, Suiseiseki.
That word is desu~
Party President History
From the Party's founding on the 4th of January 2010 through to the first Party President election on the 15th of January, the Desu Workers' Party was led by Sigrun Makinen.
January Election
On the 15th of January, Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya was elected as the 2nd Party President of the Desu Workers' Party in an uncontested election.
February Election
On the 15th of February, Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya was re-elected as Party President of the Desu Workers' Party with 12 votes (66.67% of the total votes cast).
Running against her was Konno Miyuki who took the remaining 6 (33.33%) of the votes cast.
March Election
On the 15th of March, Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya was yet again elected as the Party President of the Desu Workers' Party with 21 votes (95.45% of the total votes cast). Running against her was Kakumei who received one vote (4.55%). However, prior to the April elections, Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya gave up the presidency and was succeeded by Jbic75. Speculation has it that this was due to a possible party-takeover by an outside group.
April Election
In an election with a turnout of 70.59% of party members voting on the 15th of April, Kakumei was elected as Party President with 8 votes (66.67% of the total votes cast). Running against him was darlosworld who received 4 votes (33.33%).
Japanese Congress History
January Election
In the Japanese Congress of January 25th 2010, the Desu Workers' Party (with its candidates running under the SOS Brigade) achieved 3.6% of the national vote, acquiring one seat in the Congress, with Party member ACSephiroth being elected to Congress in the region of Chubu.
February Election
In February 2010, the Desu Workers' Party sent members Cayen and Yagami M to Congress.
March Election
In March 2010, the Desu Workers' Party sent members Cayen (reelected) and Sigrun Makinen to Congress.
Additionally, recent immigrants from Russia, AoNeko and Nata-kun, DWP members in good standing, were also elected to Congress, amid widespread concern of a PTO (before the election, Koppanyi Ferenc acted independently to raise DWP to a top 5 party position, which was counteracted by many Japanese changing party affiliations temporarily to restore Scorpion Clan to its #5 position); in the end, Nata-kun and AoNeko were given permission to remain congressmen, but were not granted the full privileges thereof.
The End of Desu Workers' Party
In early April 2010, members and leaders of the SOS Brigade and the DWP agreed to merge. With no public announcement, the core of the DWP moved to the SOS Brigade, expanding its numbers to the #2 party in Japan. DWP Party President Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya was elected the first president of the new, merged party (Sekai Shakai Sensen), albeit holding a co-presidency with SOS Brigade Party President Faeyas.
Following a successful election to Party President by Kakumei, the DWP was transformed into a new Far-right, Totalitarian party known as the Tea Party. This transformation took place on the 16th of April, the day after the election.
The DWP thus concluded its history, having been a huge focus of Japanese politics for a couple of months and then ceasing to exist independently.
