Political Career

As a young citizen, Devan Kronos became more interested and active in the world of politics. This interest was prompted by an interview of Harrison Richardson for his Newspaper Hephaestus' Anvil [1] which took place in June 2009.

Devan Kronos first joined the Conservative Party, but grew disillusioned and left after a mere two weeks of party membership. He went on to join the United States Workers Party. He first aided his party by running as a blocker in Canadian-occupied Alaska in July 2009.

At the behest of a friend, Daphne Lilac, Devan Kronos joined the NSA as the Director of Operations. he served there until it was disbanded a month later (in July).

Devan Kronos ran for Congress in the United States in South Carolina in September 2009. He lost that race. After the race was over, he became the USWP Western PAC Regional Director. He was later chosen an USA Deputy Ambassador to Singapore. He served the post for only one week as his friend the Japanese President Oraizan specifically requested him to be USA Ambassador to Japan.

Halfway through October 2009, Devan was secretly selected by Ligtreb (then USWP PAC Director) and Party President Jasper Ferguson to be Ligtreb’s successor. Devan worked secretly as semi-Co-PAC Director with Ligtreb who was getting worn out from the job. Finally, in October, Devan was elected to USA Congress in the state of Montana. During this time, Devan became a USWP Executive Board Member. In November, Devan was announced as Ligtreb’s successor.

During the presidency of Josh Frost, Devan was appointed to White House Deputy Chief of Staff on November 5, 2009. He stepped down from his post as USA Ambassador to Japan to concentrate in USA domestic affairs. Devan Kronos was re-elected for Congress in November 2009.

The USWP saw many triumphs and improvements. Devan Kronos has been credited as being a large part of these changes. See United_States_Workers_Party#November:_Improvements. Due to RL limitations, DK stepped down as PAC Director and moved into USWP Executive Board Emeritus Member in December 2009.

After Josh Frost’s stunning defeat during re-election, Devan was uncertain about his future. But, the President Jewitt selected Devan to continue in his role as White House Deputy Chief of Staff. In the meantime, he was re-elected to 3rd Term from Montana in December 2009.

Devan started the year 2010 with a bang, as he was elected as USWP Party President. He accepted this job reluctantly and swiftly stepped down when Josh Frost expressed interest in being Party President. Jewitt was re-elected in January 2010 and Devan was promoted to White House Chief of Staff. He was also re-elected for his fourth congressional term but this time in the newly acquired Karnataka. Devan grew more involved in Congress and was selected as the Internal/External Super Committee Chairman. Josh Frost was elected as USA President in February 2010. Under the Frost government, Devan was named as Senior Policy Adviser to Josh Frost. Since Eugene Harlot expressed interest in politics, Devan offered him his seat in Karnataka. He moved to North Carolina and won the Congressional election and his Fifth term.

On March 3, 2010, Devan Kronos resigned all posts and became a 2-clicker due to RL circumstances. His semi-farewell was posted on the United States forums.[2].

Unable to stay away from his Life for long, Devan returned to activity and USA politics in May 2010. During this time, he became the Deputy Secretary of State for Latin America. Eventually he rose to prominence again and became Secretary of State under the Presidency of Bradley Reala. After the end of that presidency, he decided to retire for one final time. He has been known to come around once in a while to see what is going on, mostly under a disgused name, but for all intents and purposes, he is long retired from his eLife.

Media Career

Devan Kronos runs the popular newspaper Hephaestus' Anvil.

Personal Life

Devan Kronos started a friendship with Daphne Lilac around August 2009, when she was married to Dale Marks, who she later Divorced. Devan proposed to Daphne around October 2009 and she agreed. But due to RL circumstances, the Marriage never took place.

In October 2009, after getting over Daphne leaving, he became engaged to Fionia. Finally, on November 21st,2009 DK and Fionia Married. On his Farewell letter, of March 2010, Devan released Fionia of all the obligations of their Marriage.
