Contract between the Mexican Congress and the Administrators for the establishment of the National Flag and Coat of Arms of Mexico in the Erepublik.


Definition.

All contracts share in common that they must be signed by the parties involved in order to take effect. Additionally, all contracts can be broken by one of the signatories not following the terms.


Type of Contract.

Constitutions and Charters

A constitution is written by the president of a country to declare the rights and goals of the country and it's citizens. A charter similar, as it is written by the president of a political party to detail the goals of his presidency. These are both congressional contracts, meaning that they both require a majority of the signatures of the country's congress in order to become valid. The Contract.

Main Body.

This Contract is for the establishment of the right National Flag and Coat of Arms of Mexico (Spanish: México) in the Erepublik On-Line Game, the Erepublik Wiki or any other number of Erepublik based creations.

  1. The National Flag of Mexico (Spanish: México) in the Erepublik shall be the same National Flag as the United Mexican States (Spanish: Estados Unidos Mexicanos) has in Real Life as of the date this Contract is written. The Mexican National Flag (Spanish: Bandera Nacional Mexicana) is a rectangle divided into three vertical stripes of identical measures, with the colors placed in the following order from hoist to fly: Green (Web color: 006847), White (Web color: FFFFFF), and Red (Web color: CE1126). Centered in the white stripe, the Mexican National Coat of Arms has a diameter of three-fourths the width of the white stripe. The proportion of the flag is four to seven (Ratio 4:7). It could carry a rope or tie of the same colors below the truck.
  2. The National Coat of Arms of Mexico (Spanish: México) in the Erepublik shall be the same Coat of Arms as the United Mexican States (Spanish: Estados Unidos Mexicanos) has in Real Life as of the date this Contract is written. The Mexican National Coat of Arms (Spanish: Escudo Nacional Mexicano) is featured by an Mexican eagle exposing its left profile, the upper part of the wings in a level higher than plume and slightly displayed in a battle attitude; with the sustenation plumage downwards touching to the tail whose feathers are arranged in natural fan. It puts its left grasp on a bloomed nopal that is born in a rock that emerges from a lake. It is grasping with the right grasp and the beack, in attitude of eat, a curved serpent, so that it harmonizes with the whole. Several "pencas" of the nopal grow to the sides. Two branches, one of encino to the front of the eagle and another one of laurel opposed, form a lower semicircle and they are united by a ribbon divided in three strips that, when the National Coat of Arms is represented in natural colors, correspond to those of the Mexican National Flag: Green (Web color: 006847), White (Web color: FFFFFF), and Red (Web color: CE1126).
  3. On Day 313 of the Erepublik, the new World On-Line Game Calendar, the President of Mexico (Spanish: México) Debildevil in that moment issued a congressional vote to change the National Flag and Coat of Arms of Mexico (Spanish: México) in the Erepublik, the new World On-Line Game and in the Erepublik, the new World Wiki. The vote was signed as requested by 3/4ths of the Mexican Congress on Day 314 and the National Flag and Coat of Arms of Mexico were changed. The contract also stated that the National Flag and Coat of Arms of Mexico can only be changed by a 3/4 majority voting of Mexican Congress in the future. Due this previous contract, this change shall be effective when 3/4 of the Mexican Congress and the President of Mexico, sign.
  4. In order to change the Mexican National Flag, the Mexican National Coat of Arms, or any other iconic Mexican National Symbol of Mexico (Spanish: México) in the Erepublik, the following votes shall be required, in perpetuity:
    1. To change a symbol to match the same as the United Mexican States (Spanish: Estados Unidos Mexicanos) holds or held in real life as of the date of this Contract, a simple majority shall be required.
    2. To make any other change, a unanimous vote of Congress, plus a 3/4 majority in a referendum of the citizens of Mexico in the Erepublik, shall be required.
  5. No Contract may amend Section 4 or 5 of this Contract, without a Referendum approved by 3/4 of the people of Mexico (Spanish: México) in the Erepublik, and a simple majority of all former Mexican Congressmen and Presidents of Mexico voting.

Annex.

  1. Note 01: In the Real Life, the current Mexican National Flag was adopted in 1968, but the overall design has been used since 1821, when the First Mexican National Flag was created. The current law of national symbols, Law on the National Arms, Flag, and Anthem, that governs the use of the national flag has been in place since 1984. At that time the Italian tricolor was not in use. It is a common mistake when constructing the National Flag of Mexico to take the Mexican Coat of Arms and place it in center of the white stripe, using the Italian flag as the base design. This error occurs due to the fact that some people incorrectly believe the only difference between the two flags is the Mexican National Coat of Arms in the Mexican national banner. Both flags use the same colors (green, white and red), but the Mexican National Flag has darker shades of green and red. Most importantly, these flags present a different aspect ratio (proportions), which gives each one a unique look. The Italian flag aspect ratio is 2:3, more squarish in shape, while the Mexican National Flag aspect ratio is 4:7, resulting in a longer shape.

  3. Note 02: In the Real Life, the National Coat of Arms of Mexico has been an important symbol of Mexican politics and culture for centuries. The Mexican National Coat of Arms recalls an old Aztec legend: "The Aztec people were guided by Huitzilopochtli to seek a place where an eagle landed on a prickly-pear cactus, eating a snake". After hundreds of years of wandering they found the sign on a small swampy island in Lake Texcoco. Their new home they named Mexico-Tenochtitlan ("In the Moon's navel-Place of the Prickly Pear Cactus"). In A.D. 1325 they built a city on the site of the island in the lake; this is now the center (downtown) of Mexico City. To the people of Tenochtitlan this would have strong religious connotations, but to the Europeans, it would come to symbolize the triumph of good over evil.

Resolution.

On day 434 (February, 3, 2009), President Splik issued a vote to change the National Flag and Coat of Arms of Mexico. This Contract is for the establishment of the right National Flag and Coat of Arms of Mexico (Spanish: México) in the Erepublik On-Line Game, the Erepublik Wiki or any other number of Erepublik based creations. In the day 440 of the New World the Wiki Editor Q J Lincoln check and confirm that more the 3/4 part of the Mexican Congress plus the President of Mexico vote affirmative in this contract.
