Francesco Cavour (pronounced /ka'vu:r/) (born April 3, 2013 in Calabria, Italy) is an Italian diplomat and politician.
Early life
Born in the years of the War between Italy and Slovenia, Cavour immediately revealed his libertarian and centrist political view. The war convinced Cavour that true and honest democracy, not military-dominated autocracy, was the only way for a nation to govern itself. But he believed that the war was the only way for a nation to gain international credibility.
Early career
In the early days, Cavour started to imagine a new strong alliance that would allow to achieve international security. He began writing drafts of the constitution of an alliance with whom he achieved acclaim.[1] He is currently continuing this project.
In April 2013 he was chosen by millyi, the italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, as the new Ambassador of Italy in Croatia.[2] In addition, during the same period, he was a candidate of the congress in the list of the party "Fratelli d'eItalia".[3] The party received 23,75% of the votes and was the most voted: in fact Cavour becomed a congressman.[4]
During his mandate he has repeatedly reiterated its position against EDEN, and against TWO.[5] In fact, he expressed that he had voted favorably at the exit of Italy from EDEN showing his profound openness towards CoT.[6] His mandate will expire on May 26, 2013.
