Franz Sigel was a Japanese citizen of German descent born on December 14, 2008, unlike most other people he is just an average person. Later he took German citizenship.

Personal History

Early years

Franz Sigel was born on December 14th, 2008 in Baden Württemberg, Germany, where he spent the first month of his life in the New World as a ordinary manufacturing worker in an state owned armament factory.

Born after the German Independence War, Sigel grew up in a Germany which consisted only of 5 regions and still was mainly occupied by Swedish forces. Like most Germans back in these days he dreamed of a completely liberated Germany and was very pleased with the peaceful and coordinated repatriation of Saarland and Rhineland Palatinate. However when on January 10, 2009 a series of coordinated surprise attacks called Operation Burning Spirit were initiated by the German government, Sigel was shocked and embarrassed by the bigotry and the lack of information and professional demeanour shown by government officials, congressmen and wide parts of the German public. On the following day he decided that he couldn't square these events with his conscience and left Germany to go into exile to the USA.

Times in the USA and Return to Germany

Arriving in the United States, Sigel continued his career as manufacturing worker at a civil transportation company in New York. Although he lead a unpolitical and event less life in his new home he considers his time in America as a very important experience, which taught him a lot about the life in the new world. Still a German at heart Franz Sigel carefully followed the German media and this way got aware of the movement to found a new German party by a newspaper article published by MortenLond in his Laughing Man Post. On February 11, 2009 he attended at the inaugural meeting of this movement as a spectator, which eventually ended in the foundation of the party Bürgerliches Deutschland. On this occasion he made the acquaintance of Starkad Rorlikson and MortenLond, to whom he maintains a friendly relationship down to the present day.

Confident in the political beliefs and the motivation of Bürgerliches Deutschland, Sigel decided to return to Germany on February 12, 2009 to get a member of this party and support their course.

Back in eGermany and times as state secretary

Back in the fatherland Sigel quickly found a new job in the German manufacturing industry and got his meanwhile fourth Hard Worker Medal. Although he got slightly more involved with the political landscape in Germany, he maintained the habit to only discuss his political views and ideas with close friends in private conversations and therefore felt and still feels no urge to run for congress or other public offices.

Nevertheless when on April 5, 2009 his old friend and fellow party member Starkad Rorlikson became president of Germany after Sigel supported his election campaign, he accepted Rorliksons offer to serve as a presidential adviser without a determined field of duties and became State Secretary in the Office of the Chancellor and later Interim Minister of Finance.

Due to the nature of his post in the administration, Sigels service was most of the time limited to the acquisition of information and adviser duties for the president. After the imminent war with Sweden was brought to attention within the administration in early May and became day by day more inevitable despite long and tiresome negotiations within ATLANTIS, Sigel at first represented president Rorlikson at ATLANTIS meetings and created plans for resistance movements in case of occupation. Nevertheless the longer negotiations took he fell more and more behind and partly completely lost track about the acting of his president and the other ministers, this situation got even worse after the outbreak of the war, when his duties changed from advising to mere management duties, in course of this action he was also appointed Interim Minister of Finance.

In retrospective, although the Rorlikson administration has made respectable achievements, given the circumstances of an inevitable war and a 6 month lasting spy operation by Sweden, Sigel was badly disappointed by himself and his work as state secretary. The burdens of an official office, which he experienced for the first time, and his own indisposition made him to underachieve his own expectations and those of his president.

In his free time Franz Sigel lived very retreated in his humble estate in Heidelberg, where he spent the day in his private library drinking whisky. It was rumored that unbidden guests had been shot without warning and their mortal remains were used to furniture the dinning room of the Sigel Mansion.

War refugee and new life in Japan

When on 21 May 2009 the fortress Schleswig-Holstein was conquered by Sweden during the Swedish-German War most fighting citizens fled to allied bases around the world, this way Sigel arrived in Kanto, which should become his later home. Like most German citizens he spent large parts of his personal funds and energy in order to stop the enemy advance and gain time, but eventually all of this was done in vain and Germany went into complete occupation after the actions of an Swedish Intelligence Operation. After the sudden liberation by PEACE GC forces, the political and social landscape changed drastically and so Sigel decided to stay in Japan and observe these changes a little longer. During his weeks in Japan he noticed with increasing solicitude that the people and politicians of his fatherland were more and more abandoning the values and beliefs he once identified with. Severely alienated Franz Sigel decided, after many weeks of consideration, that he can't feel for Germany as his home anymore and accepted Japanese citizenship.

Despite his renunciation of his German fatherland, he still maintains close ties to his former companions and administration colleagues such as former MoD Chicco (despite his terribly misled political views), former MoFa and fellow Japanese Nolan Pitler, his former president Starkad Rorlikson, Herr Schmidt, a leading figure in the German media, who lived with him in exile for several months, as well as many younger Germans of the Post-War generation.

He lived retreated in a small house in Atsugi, in the region of Kanto as a non-political employee and soldier, where he continued his humble and unobtrusive lifestyle and even stopped shooting and salvaging random pedestrians. The only notable peculiarities in his life were the exceptional high number of young female domestic servants he employs and the amount of German Beer and books he imports.

Business Life

Franz Sigel didn't run any big companies and had no remarkable shares beside some minor investments and monetary market speculations by his organisations.

He was a moderately skilled manufacturing worker employed at a state run weapon company earning 45 Hard Worker Medals for his efforts.

Military Life

In the first half of his life Sigel decided to be not part of any organised army and only serve his conscience this way he gained the rank of General after over 400 fights completely funded by his own wealth.

After a brief period as citizen of Japan he decided to serve his new country as best as he can, while respecting his own political hiatus, and therefore enlisted in the Japanese Imperial Army. He was transferred to the Japanese Imperial Expeditionaries and saw his first official combat operation beside war games in the Japanese-Theocrats conflict in South Korea. Sigel was later assigned to the Japanese PEACEkeepers delegation and fought with them in several war theaters around the world. He also was the first JIA soldier who gains the rank of Field Marshal through the assistance of the JIA training program.

On day 847 Franz Sigel honourably retired from service with the JIA to help some old acquaintances from Germany with their militia. Shortly after that his Alphajet vanished in Brazilian airspace after starting from Nagoya International.

He was later a member of Fliegendes Suizid Kommando (FSK) unit.
