History

Before Free Malaysian Party

Parti Demokrat Sosial

The party was initially founded by an eSaudi immigrant named Muhamud Al Kataffo as Parti Demokrat Sosial in late March 2011. Muhamud Al Kataffo intended to use the party as a platform to take over Malaysia for his own political and economic reasons. The party was initially founded as a social democratic party, a center-left libertarian party. The party was suspiciously called a pto-er's party, mainly because native eMalaysians did not trust Muhamud Al Kataffo with the purpose of developing Malaysia. Eventually, Muhamud Al Kataffo was caught, and was banned for using multis. The party eventually lost its momentum and members started leaving or becoming inactive.

Seanlam years

Seanlam eventually took control of the party, in attempt to dissolve the party. This move was done because at that time, it was viewed that having many political parties would leave the country being prone to pto activities. Unfortunately, Seanlam was unable to dissolve the party as certain members refused to leave the party and he eventually left eRepublik for good. The responsibility of dissolving the party was left to others.

Fundamentalists Party

Soon, sir arianfar fv, competed with newcomer, Firebourne in July 2011 to take control of the party. sir arianfar fv eventually won the party presidential election, beating Firebourne by two votes. Both sir arianfar fv and Firebourne had intended to revive the party and use the party as a platform to make Malaysia's political environment more interesting. However, at that point of time, many were keen to get the party closed down, to reduce pto risks. sir arianfar fv had messaged all members to resign and eventually he resigned himself. Unfortunately, it was a poor move, as a couple of party members, pippolo and nicholas the blood had refused to leave the party. Luckily, the party's leadership had fallen into the hands of Satoshi Tomiie.

eMalaysian Liberal Party

Firebourne attempted to compete for the party's presidential position again in August 2011 and successfully won the election with 12 votes. Second place pippolo had only 2 votes. Firebourne decided to revamp the party and launch it as eMalaysian Liberal Party, a centre libertarian party. The party's purpose was to balance the political landscape in Malaysia and to break the duopoly both Peace and Freedom Party and Parti Kemajuan eMalaysia had over Malaysia's political landscape. The party soon became the largest political party in Malaysia, and had dominated both congress and country presidential elections.

PTO period

Unfortunately, the party fell under the control of zemion in October 2011, a pto-er by using multiple accounts. Due to the slow response of the game admins, it was too late for the party to be saved. zemion subsequently sold the party to DoOmHaMmEr for 30 gold, according to DoOmHaMmEr, a pto-er from Turkey. The party was eventually renamed to Maleyza Pijama Partisi, under the leadership of CooLMasTR. It was also during this period that the Turks were competing a group from Hungary as well.

Kesatuan Masyarakat eMalaysia

MadamChikas took control of Maleyza Pijama Partisi and renamed the party to Kesatuan Masyarakat eMalaysia in May 2012. MadamChikas were among the Indonesians who had come over to Malaysia to fight against the Turkish and Hungarian invasion at that time. The party had since been very quiet as the country were eventually at war with Croatia. TeMing won the party presidential election in August 2012.

Revival

Egyefene won the party elections in September 2012. He eventually renamed the party as Free Malaysian Party. The party eventually attracted the leftover Hungarians from during the pto period but party members eventually left the party as they moved on to different countries. The party could not attract members. Eventually, party membership fell to less than 10 members.

Greatmoff, a new immigrant in the country, decided to take control of the party and decided to put the party to good use. He won the November 2012 party presidential election and started his rebranding his exercise. The party was rebranded, but retained the same name, as the name was very popular among his followers. The party started recruiting members such as Jujai23, clanky4, Blitz Aegis, jakubekz1994 & Buntak Dayung Bluesavvy. The party eventually grew and became the third largest political party at that time.

Controversy

Greatmoff, eventually left Malaysia on 16th December 2012, and went back to Poland due to disagreements with Parti Rakyat eMalaysia's party leader, sir arianfar fv. Parti Rakyat eMalaysia had been accused of practicing money politics. sir arianfar fv denied it, but eventually resigned as Parti Rakyat eMalaysia's president, with Atsalenios taking control of Parti Rakyat eMalaysia. Meanwhile at Free Malaysian Party, jakubekz1994 took control of the party since Greatmoff left the country. The matter was investigated by the Minister of Immigration at that time, Muhammad Hifzan.
