Gathering of Tweakers is a political party in the Netherlands.

Gathering of Tweakers was the second largest party in the Netherlands for a long time.

History

Gathering of Tweakers was founded in January 2008 by Overmaze. The name refers to a large Dutch forum where Overmaze recruited most members.

Most members joined in January and February. At a certain moment GoT had more than a hundred members. This moment didn't last long as a group of users from the party started their own party called Iron & Wine. Some members left the game out of boredom while others left due to bugs in the beta version.

In April 2008 Overmaze stopped with the game. Jazar was chosen by the party members to be the party's president.

Politics

GoT's plans for the Netherlands are to create a strong country that has a right to speak in the world's politics. The party is always interested in working together with other parties.
