The Gift is a special item that citizens exchange with each other.
How to get one
The current amount of gifts a citizen has can be viewed in the storage.
Gifts can be obtained through one of the following ways:
- As a reward from the weekly Winter challenge
- As a reward from the weekly Stay at home challenge (VI)
- From buying packs from the Shop during certain periods of the year
Sending gifts
The only use for gifts is to send them to other players. That can be done by going to the player's profile and selecting "send a gift" on the top row of icons. A pop-up will appear to confirm that you want to send a gift to that person with the amount of gifts to be sent. Upon being sent, the gift is opened automatically into the citizen's storage.
Receiving gifts
As soon as a citizen receives a gift, a dialogue pop-up will inform that the gift has been received and unpacked. Receiving and unpacking are done automatically, no need to confirm this action anywhere. The pop-up dialogue is just to inform who sent the gift and has a button to thank the sender. That button leads to the inbox page where message can be sent.

During the 2023 Winter challenge, one gift contained:

1 GOLD - 6 Winter treats (expires 15 days after receiving the gift)
- 1 Prestige points booster (+1) for 3 minutes (expires on day 5,893)
During the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Winter challenge, one gift contained:
- 1 GOLD
- 5 Winter treats (expires 15 days after receiving the gift)
- 1 Snow fight token (expires on a specific day)
- 1 Prestige points booster (+1) for 3 minutes (expires on a specific day)
During the Stay at home challenge, one gift contained:
- 1 GOLD
- 5 Carrots
- 1 Prestige points booster (+1) for 3 minutes (expires after 20 days)
