He started his political career in Halkın Sesi Partisi. He was elected as a party president on 15 May 2010. On 1 June 2010, he left the office and joined to Yurtsever Demokrat Parti. He becomes a member of Central law enforcement board as the 4th elected after the party president elections on 15 June 2010. He couldn't get elected as a member of parliament when he was a candidate from Black Sea Coast of Turkey on 25 July 2010. He joined Çağdaş Türkiye Partisi after he loses the elections for party presidency in Yurtsever Demokrat Parti. He couldn't get elected as a member of parliament when he was a candidate from Black Sea Coast of Turkey on 25 August 2010.
