Harrison Richardson was an American politician and former President of the USA.
He served as the President during the first few weeks of the Great War of 2009 and previously was the Secretary of State under President scrabman. Since his retirement from public office, Harrison has been a leader of the game mechanics movement in the United States as a member of the USWP.
Early Life and Congress
Utah
Within his first month of life, Harrison Richardson threw his hat into the ring as the USWP candidate for Utah. He hoped to become the youngest U.S. Congressman in eRepublik history. His platform included U.S. withdrawal from Atlantis and high taxes to support a large, powerful military. He also included a section on his favorite "music" to give voters a taste of his personality. Despite his best efforts he was not able to win the state of Utah, but he was unfettered by the loss in Utah and continued to be an active member of the United States Workers Party.
Texas
Two months later Harrison ran a new campaign in Texas. His platform incorporated many ideas he used in Utah. However, his efforts in Texas would not yield the congress position he had aimed for. He continued to be an active member of the political community, despite the loss in April.
Determined to become a congressman, Harrison Richardson finally broke through in the May 2009 elections, becoming Texas' representative.
State Department
Prior to being elected, Harrison had worked as the Deputy Secretary of State, although he performed many of the duties of the acting Secretary of State. In the middle of May he dropped the "Deputy" and became the official Secretary of State, a position he held until the end of the scrabman administration.

Campaign and Election
As the Scrabman administration winded down, Harrison gained the USWP nomination for President of the United States in the July election. He ran against Emerick, of the Libertarian party and Richard Brophy of the United Independents Party. With many endorsements and a large popularity, Harrison represented a strong candidate for the July elections.
Richardson ended up winning in what ended up being a two horse race between him and Emerick. Richardson assumed the Presidency of the United States on July 5, 2009.
Fortis
Great War of 2009
Soon after taking over, he announced to the American people that PEACE will soon dare to invade American soil. In the days following, nothing happened, which led many to believe the invasion would not commence. However, days later, the invasion commenced with a French attack on Nova Scotia, Canada, and a Russian attack on Alaska. This was the beginning of a war that many dubbed World War III.
Re-election Campaign
Post-Presidency
In August of 2009, Harrison revealed that he was ThisGenMedia, and that as Harrison Richardson he has played the game honestly and by the rules.
