History
ILLYRIANS was the first elite Military Unit of Albania. It was created in February 2012 with the intent of gathering the most experienced Albanian soldiers in one Military Unit. The requirements to be met in order to get acceptance in the unit were: being of the rank Commander or higher and having more than 1000 strength points. The usage of the unit's avatar and presence in the group fights were also required to maintain membership.
On its creation, the unit had about 30 soldiers. This number eventually increased up to 100 as more players from Albania requested membership after meeting the entrance requirements. The Unit served as Albania's elite unit and fought for Albania and its allies in EDEN. This earned the respect of the alliance and was one the factors that contributed to the acceptance of Albania in EDEN. IILYRIANS didn't gather only the most experienced Albanian players but also many international players from countries like Turkey or Argentina, some of them internationally well-known tanks. During its peak activity ILLYRIANS were doing as much as 100 million damage per day. After the changes in the military module and the creation of Divisions, ILLYRIANS tried to adopt at the knew situation gathering division 3 and 4 players. This period saw a decrease in the activity of the military unit.
Reorganisation
In July 2012 the Albanian government decided to reorganize the military of Albania. A call was made to all the Albanian players to come together in the state funded military units for a better organization which was not possible while being divided in 13 different military units. The response was positive and it was decided for the creation of 4 different MU, one corresponding to each division and named accordingly Albania D-1 to Albania D-4. In this sense ILLYRIANS was transformed in Albania D-3 and it ceded to exist.
