History

In May 2008, it was taken over by Pakistan as a result of the China-Pakistan War. The region was taken over by Iran during the Iran-Pakistan War. It has since been in Russian hands before being taken back by China in December of 2009, before it was once again occupied by Russia shortly afterward. In April of 2010, librated from Russia and back to China.
