Joshua Hoss was citizen of USA. He was elected President of Israel and has served one term as a president of a country.

Political Career

Josh's first attempt at starting a political career was made in North Dakota during the February 2009 election cycle. He ended up in a tie with iduffie12, and lost due to having lower experience.

His second attempt came in South Dakota during the March 2009 election cycle. Once again, Josh tied and lost - this time to Travis Ruby.

Shortly before the April 2009 election cycle John Woodman (close friend of Josh's and fellow UIP party member) announced that he would not seek re-election for the state of Wisconsin. Josh asked and gained John's approval to run in Wisconsin. 3rd time was a charm, as Josh defeated his rivals (DylanB and joeyhens1). Joshua was elected for a second term the following month before finally stepping out to Bill Forder in the June 25th elections.

During his time in Congress Josh was appointed to the Military Committee and given the Chair of that committee (for 1 1/2 months). During that time he was able to help restructure a new military funding package, oversee new military developments, and work with the Joint Chiefs of Staff on military matters.

In July of 2009 Josh sought the Presidency of the USA. He ran against Harrison Richardson (the incumbent) and Emerick. The election was a dirty one, with Emerick and HR "tag teaming" against Josh, and resulted in Josh placing 3rd. However he did gain over 800 votes, being the first candidate from the UIP to do so. Shortly after the election Josh took a break from the game. Josh would go on to consider this one of his worst decisions made in the game, although he was very honored by the support given to him.

On December 26th Josh announced his intentions to run for president of Israel (having moved there in October). Josh ran against esssl, and won. Josh's term as President or Israel was met with immediate difficulty - Israel had been reduced to one region in an ongoing war with Turkey. Josh managed to work with Greece to help ensure the return of 3 regions by the end of his term and to guarantee that Turkey would not be able to wipe out Israel. Josh's term started off with much support but ended when several political members of Israel's real life population began to demand more power be attributed to them. They decided to support Sadeh Badeh for Country President in February of 2010, and Josh lost the election.

Josh's next political adventure would not come until later in 2010. He returned to Israel and ran for the Israeli Congress (Knesset). He won two consecutive terms and proceeded to demand that the government become more open to the public and more fiscally responsible. He met with some success on both levels, but felt burnt out by the division between real life Israeli's and those not from there in real life. Josh decided not to seek a third term.

Shortly after he would return to the USA and begin work on the United States Defense Party. Josh was approached by members of the Republican party about how to increase the appeal of their party. After brainstorming Josh decided that the best way was to create a new party - the United States Defense Party. This party would be based on bridging the gap between those who played the military aspect of the game and those who played the political aspect of the game. With recent game developments Josh was sure that bringing these two sides together would be what is best for the US. Josh served as Chief of Staff under then Party President Zack Mack for the USDP's first month, seeking election and winning the seat himself the next month.

Military Career

Josh joined the National Guard early in February. He was promoted to the rank of 1st Sergeant in 1st Platoon, 2nd Division two weeks after joining. Josh served this role for two weeks, being promoted to the rank of Lt. and given command of the 1st Platoon when then Lt. Cstarlight21 moved into the Marines. He filled this role for a month before being promoted once again, this time to the rank of Major. Josh was given the role of "Director of Education" for the 2nd Division and assigned the task of overseeing recruits education and graduation. He filled this role for two months before being promoted again to the rank of Colonel and assigned the duties of Quarter Master for the National Guard.

After serving in that capacity Joshua was given the rank of Colonel in the newly founded Airborne and assigned to be the Commanding Officer of the 101st Battalion (later Division). He served in the role for one month before once again moving up in rank - this time to General and Commanding Officer of the Airborne. He was removed from command in this capacity when he announced his bid to seek election during the August 2009 USA Presidential race.

After moving to Israel Joshua was promoted to the rank of Colonel within the Israeli Defense Force. He was tasked with forming and running the Training Corps, which was responsible for recruiting and training new soldiers. Shortly after Josh was promoted to General and commanding officer of the eIDF after the then commanding officer, Sir Valaro Volcurm, resigned. Josh held this post until December 26th, when he resigned to declare his intentions to run for President of Israel.

After leaving Israel for a bit and then returning in mid-2010 Josh was once again appointed to General of the eIDF. The eIDF at this point was in utter failure. Previous Israeli President Perfect.Knight had utterly gutted and destroyed the eIDF by removing then General Maelyn from command and attempting to replace her with a real life Israeli. Josh took over a command that barely existed and tried to form a coalition of various players. He was immediately met with resistance from fanatical real life Israelis who attempted to undermined his every decision. Although Josh did make some headway and started to right the eIDF he decided it was time for him to step aside. He advocated for the disbandment of the eIDF at that time until the division between the population could be repaired.

When Josh returned to the USA in December of 2010 he decided to join the newly founded Cavalry. Josh quickly rose up the ranks, serving as a Squad Executive Officer, Commanding Officer, and now Division Second Officer.

United Independent Party

Josh first joined the United Independents Party (UIP) in February. He was quickly placed into the role of "Welcome Director" and made responsible for welcoming and helping out newer members by then UIP President NoneSuch. Josh served that role again under March UIP President PrincessMedyPi. When Ansen was voted into the UIP Presidency for April he offered Josh the role of "Vice President of Party Administration".

Josh served for three months under UIP President Ansen as his Vice President. When Ansen declared that he would not seek a 4th term Josh ran and was elected as the UIP President. Josh selected Stygian Steel as his Vice President and reorganized the UIP Cabinet. Two days into his term Josh was confronted with the USA Primary/Voting freeze debacle, which brought severe tensions amongst all parties of the USA.

Josh only served 1 term as the UIP Party president. He retired after that term and helped his Vice Part President, StygianSteel, become the next Party president. In October Josh returned and ran again for Party president, losing to AndraX2000.

United States Defense Party

Josh was a founding member of the USDP, together with John Jay, Sir Valaro Volcrum, Dennis McVicker, loftedraptor, and Zack Mack. Josh served as Chief of Staff for the USDP's first month, helping the party grow from under 30 members to over 100 and gain 4 Congressional seats. Josh ran for and won the USDP PP election on February 15th, 2011.
