Latvijas Goda pilsonis medal

Latvijas Goda pilsonis (Latvian citizen in honor) is an award presented monthly by Latvijas Hronists to latvian citizen who has done something great for his country last month. The title is granted for life and can be awarded each citizen only once. Every latvian citizen is asked to suggest possible candidates. Then they are publically announced to a special commission consisting of country president, ministers, party presidents, strongest soldiers, best businessman and most popular newspaper redactors.

The award consists of medal and monetary award. The winning citizen of month is awarded with 1/12 (currently 10G) of organization's year's budget. Budget consists of donations.
