Northern Ireland is a region in United Kingdom and its capital is Belfast.
History
Northern Ireland is an original region of the United Kingdom, but there have often been disputes over the sovereignty of the region between the Irish and Britons, making it a common target of invasion attempts from Ireland.
As a result Northern Ireland has become the region that has changed hands the most in the UK as it was in the hands of Canada and Ireland frequently throughout 2010 and 2011 but has been returned to the UK, in all cases, via a resistance wars.
Commonwealth Agreement
