Nuriessa started in the original Training Division, being an XO (Platoon Sergeant), then a PL (Platoon Leader ).

She was asked to help open the United States Training Corps, assisting Gen. Angelini, LTG Teucer, and Col. Relin and Col. Abayarde. The United States Training Corps was opened and she took on the position of Company Commander of the 11th Company. Moving up the chain of command to Division XO, then to her position of 1st Division Commanding Officer.
