A General Manager of a company is its owner.

To become a General Manager, you must purchase or create a business. Organizations can also serve as General Managers but they can't create or buy companies.

General managers can work in companies they own. To do that you must go My places - Company and press "Work as manager" button. When working as manager, you will work like you're an employee. However you will lose 10 points of health when working as manager and you won't get salary as you are the owner of the company. However they can't be an employee in companies they own.

General Managers have additional options on the company page that allow them to post jobs, manage employees, sell goods, and purchase raw materials.
