A General Manager of a company is its owner.
To become a General Manager, you must purchase or create a business. Organizations can also serve as General Managers but they can't create or buy companies.
General managers can work in companies they own. To do that you must go My places - Company and press "Work as manager" button. When working as manager, you will work like you're an employee.
