Operation Dracula's Revenge

Operation: Dracula's Revenge[1] was a series of resistance wars conducted by Romania as an attempted liberation of the country after the ONE invasion of Romania. It was a guerrilla war being fought by Romanian resistance fighters after their native homeland was wiped from the map for a second time during World War V.

Background
The conflict is a direct result of the ONE invasion of Romania, in which the countries of Hungary and Poland successfully conquered Romania in its entirety. Romania had previously been wiped during the Fourth Balkan War, however, had regained its independence briefly and began military actions against Hungary and neighboring ONE-allied nations, particularly engaging with fellow EDEN allies during the EDEN invasion of Serbia.
The EDEN-led invasion was only marginally successful, reducing Serbia temporarily to only one region, but eventually Serbian forces were able to eject the invading forces.
Shortly thereafter, Poland entered the Ukraine-Turkey War and as a result secured regions along the Romanian border. This ultimately would allow Poland the ability to assist Hungary, who previously had been fighting border skirmishes with Romania, with a full invasion their regional nemesis.
Romania was conquered by ONE forces on May 29, 2011, forcing the beleaguered nation to once again have to liberate its homeland for a second time in as many months.
Uprising
In response to the defeat, Romania called upon its citizens to rise up and push the invaders once more from its borders. As a result, the image of Vlad Tepes (aka "Dracula") was put forth to bolster nationalistic pride and represent a symbolic undying desire to defeat and ultimately punish those nations that had penetrated the heart of Romania.
Romanian resistance forces made good headway against occupying Hungarian forces at the outset of the operation. However, Serbia eventually took control of the occupation force, preventing Romania from gaining territories and recapturing those that had been liberated.
In the ensuing conflict, Hungary eventually shifted much of its focus to its western regions by signing a natural enemy order against France. This was done in conjunction with Poland, ultimately leading to the Second ONE invasion of France.
This would leave Serbia chiefly responsible for maintaining control of occupied Romania and the surrounding region.
