Punjab is an original region of Pakistan. The region's capital, Lahore, is also the capital of Pakistan. Punjab was once the most populated region in Pakistan, but has often been emptied in times of war. It was occupied by Serbia briefly, but returned to Pakistan and renounced as the Pakistani capital.
Now it's a Chinese region.
