The First Aid Kit was used automatically on the battlefield when soldier lost a fight. It restored soldiers health back to 70 points. A soldier can receive up to three health kits every 24 hours. The chronometer for those 24 hours starts when the first first aid kit is consumed.
When you lose a fight, you will see how many first aid kits you can get. If you have used them all, you will see the time to the next kit.
