History

French Speaking Switzerland was taken over by France as a result of the France-Switzerland War in early May 2008. It was returned to Switzerland in December 2008. In 2009 it was taken over by Italy. On 20th July 2009 (day 608 of the New World) the region was renamed from French Speaking Switzerland to Romandie.

Romandie was owned by the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) for several months until they left Switzerland and the Italian peninsula on July 21st, 2011. Afterwards, it was conquered by Slovenia and is usually under Slovenian occupation to this day.

There are two mayors recorded in Romandie history, they are Chris1870 of the Parti Social Démocrate from June to August 2008, and Lezar of Swiss Independence in September 2008.
