saltydog is set to be one of the most prolific players seen not only in eCanada, but in eRepublik as a whole. He is thought of as an unstoppable tsunami of force, and co-founded the Anime Commons Canada party with Yonsil. More recently, saltydog has begun to branch out into the media sector, having created the BET Canada media conglomerate. Also he had founded The Anti-Serious Society of Homeboys Objecting to Losers in Erepublik (A.S.S.H.O.L.E).

saltydog is one of eCanada's favourite contoversial players. The question of whether or not "Steve" on eCanada's forums is the same person as saltydog remains open for debate.
