Mayor Profile

One term Mayor, from 20th April to 20th May 2008.
Skinny had been a part of eRepublik for less than a month before he decided to take his first step on the political ladder, which happened to be the campaigning for the role as Mayor of Birmingham.
He felt strongly about Birmingham and it's part in erepublik, not only because it is where he was born and raised in RL, but also because he feels it is almost a neglected corner of the UK.
Skinny Bones Jones won the local elections in Birmingham on April 20th, 2008 after a campaign of personal messages to all Birmingham citizens, as well as a manifesto produced in an article highlighting his plans to turn Birmingham around. During his time as Mayor Birmingham gained its first hospital, had it's housing and business taxes both lowered to 0 GBP, as well as a gaining a positive increase in citizens. Because of the enjoyment, the role brought to him and the success he had achieved, Skinny decided to run for a second mandate. He lost the local election in May 2008 to Tino Zanicchi.
