Some Australians are wanting this page changed so that the flag has not got the Indonesian flag with Australian flag, as its not represented in the game anyway, so why here. also other conquered countries do not have this. --MachineMadness 12:18, 15 July 2008 (BST)

Rework

I propose the following,

• Just like other annexed countries, remove everything.
• Write that Australia has been annexed by Indonesia
• Maybe a bit on where Australians are today etc etc.

I suggest that we leave all remaining information for a country if it is taken over. This is to allow for flexibility as the game changes and evolves. The area still exists and there will be revolution and independence modules in V1. The information can be merged into the conquering country, but deleting information as if it no longer exists is wrong.--Q J Lincoln 23:16, 16 September 2008 (BST)

I feel that information on conquered countries should be developed or at least preserved. We do not know when defeated countries will rise out of the ashes.(Especially since Beta ver. of Erepublic is nearing the end.) Poland already has a binding contract to gain its Independence, and Australia's government in exile has been negotiating for its Independence. Major Update

Currently working on a major update of information on the Australia pages. They havent really been updated in a fair while, since the PTO, in fact. So ... I'm working on updating them. Edit war

I see that the problem is this part

I would like to hear both of your opinions about this situation. From this article I can clearly see that the opposition didn't like the party and its members but I don't see any personal vendetta (as in they hate the party) against him. For the time I've been editing the page, I've been editing it the way the public has displayed it and it was in the manner which I have put into the Australia page. Whether or not Discrate agrees with the information isn't my problem. I only wish to inform people of the truth. Most of the information I've been told by him has been lies and I've finally been told by the public. He always denies this. This isn't a personal attack on Discrate, I just wish for the page to have truthful, peaceful and neutral information and it seems he doesn't want that but to attack others as well as attacking admins on his own page, Discrate1 stating that Admin's forfeit points are "bogus." All points given by admin are truthful and correct, if he doesn't like them, fine, thats his opinion but calling admins bogus for the forfeit point system, isn't allowed. -- Mikhail Alexander 00:25, 11 September 2011 (PDT)

There was a lot of activity on the Australian forums about this issue. DocterDry disregarded both the senate and the military on multiple occasions. On one occasion, he even went so far as to hold the senate to ransom, stating that if he was impeached, that he would try to steal the gold from the Reserve Bank of Australia org. I would like to note you are only hearing one opinion from the people who mainly opposed him, this is not all correct. He was impeached for: a. Not following through on platform. b. Not letting the Speaker in the Cabinet IRC room which he was allowed. c. Responding to all the flames and trolls and thus not getting anything done at all. Mostly. Firstly, he is being given a chance to respond, Hyuu. He is choosing not to, and instead going oh i'm being trolled (which he also chose to do for the entirety of his term). Secondly, there is a lot of stuff that isnt being included in the dispute, such as the ADF issue, for the sake of neutrality. It is Discrate's insistance on us putting in such things as being issued bogus forfeit points (which is highly biased in wording) that caused the dispute. Whether or not it is well known by one community, it might not be true to another. Many people read the Australia wiki page and the information stated seems unlikely. Thing you don't get is I know all that. The ADF thing I agree with him on like the Speaker issue, I was one of the people who didn't want him impeached and tried to point out all the trolling by BOTH sides going on. You talk about him not doing anything in his term but it was you and Timeoin along with venja etc who wanted him gone no matter what. You may call me biased but I am an AI, thus on my own really so I am not biased. I pointed out the ANP's failings before and now I'm pointing out yours. You couldn't ever be happy with the fact he got in, all I saw through the term was trolling started first off by Binda and Timeoin. I can second the banning for flaming. I was a Game Moderator at the time, and saw the ticket in question, as they asked me for verification. Having reviewed the posts in question, in confirmed that it was indeed legitimate (i.e. the posts were against game rules) and passed it on to be reviewed a third time. Only erepublik content can be used as evidence. Let's take a look the article which the impeachment links to: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/the-people-have-spoken-1-1829700/1/20 (as it's the only article I've been seen even though I've been asking for other stuff too to get a bigger picture). It's written by the opposition who is telling here they impeached the prez because he didn't achieve his goals:

• Theory 1: Impeached because failing to achieve any goals
  • the failings of this incompetent government
• Theory 2: Personal vendetta against the president and his party
  • Too long has Australia suffered under from the inadequacy of this party's leadership
  • Today saw the end to this party's reign of tyranny.
  • They can no longer hide their inaction and incompetence behind a veil of 2 clicking Senators controlled by party hacks like DocterDry and infin
  • Australians within the ANP, I urge you, leave that stain

So from this POV, it seems to be a bit of both: both personal and professional. So from the references I've been given, I would change the article like this:

“ Nelson replaced DocterDry, who was impeached because of hatred from an opposition group towards his party and him along with inability to handle his office properly. ”

Reasons

• I can say that Docter wasn't the optimal president
• There's a clear sign of that vendetta in the article of the opposition group saying there wasn't any

His congress articles, though, mention me as being a troll almost every single article, which is why I hated him as much as I did.
