While it would be really interesting to see how an orwellian type of government system plays out in eRepublik, its not possible for it to function in its current way. You'd need the option to disable the media and politics modules, not to mention restrict citizens from moving. Thats not to say I won't lay claim to the name or draw on some of its ideals - just for fun of course...soon. This is me (BB) by the way, still awaiting approval of my own wiki account ;)

We're going to give it a go anyway. Was this name reg'ed with the idea of 1984 in mind, or just a coincidence? By the way, cheers with the lotto/StockX. Job well done.

Yes it was, 1984 happens to be my favorite book. The profile picture though, is from a movie...can you guess which?
