When I type "IRC" or "Internet Relay Chat" into the search box, this page should come up. I was trying to search for a country's IRC channel just now, and it took me a lot longer to find this page than it should have. Can this wiki page simply be copied as a new page called IRC? --Ryoushi 01:47, 04 January 2010 (PST)

-1 The purpose of this page is to promote all the ways the communication channels, not just IRC. --Belea2008 17:59, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
I agree Belea, but I think all he is suggesting is a redirect from IRC to here. If that is it then +1 from me.--Martin23230 20:42, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Yep, that is all I'm suggesting. If it is as simple as creating a page called IRC and copying the text/code on this page, to the IRC entry, then I will do it myself. I created this talk page to make sure that was okay to do. --Ryoushi 10:38, 05 January 2010 (PST)
A new redirect? Personally, I'm against them. If you have the OK from the Wiki community (especially, other Uber Editors) in the eRepublik:Bar, then I do not have anything against the idea. Just my humble opinion! --Belea2008 09:07, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Iceland

Is it possible to add links to the Icelandic campaign here, or does this only include already implented countries?

Non Countries

Is this list exclusively for countries? The previous IRC list included other channels such as, those for alliances, trading or whatever; stuff which I've found to be pretty useful. Were those other channels accidentally left out or deliberately removed? If deliberately removed, could you please tell me the reasons?--~Laurana "Psi"~ (My Whiteboard) 04:53, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Switzerland

To all parties involved in this dispute please state your viewpoints here. --Icon-Australia.png Timeoin| Say G'Day 15:51, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

We have created the http://eswitzerland.freeforums.org/ forum as in ehelvetia the admins have edited and deleted user posts. We have created the #eCH channel also because admins in eSwitzerland have kicked and banned peoples. Then we have add the new forum and new IRC channel in this page (and it's official after Congress). But Eleriel and Renouille (first admin of the forum second admin of the IRC channel) won't accept this but rather get the power with all methods^^. As I have him said: "If you edit here continual, we get a ban", was his answer (German, Original): "Huhu, das marcht mir nichts wenn ich gebannt werde, so lange das du es auch bist. Ist ein bischen wie die terroristen _o/" (link: http://www3.pic-upload.de/10.05.10/kolk7829qad.jpg). Translated in english: "Huhu, it's no problem if i'm banned, as long you're banned too. It's like the terrorists _o/". This guy will especially trouble and risk his own ban if i'm banned too^^. Is this normal? What's this for a character in this game? Sorry, but it's a bit crazy which peoples here underway in a game^^. I can live with both links and hope that the peoples, which make here always trouble can live with this too. The way is that we have here two links and the user decide which forum/channel they want use and don't play here like Kindergarten. User_talk:C. M. Burns 18:05, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Response: To make things simple. I am the President of Switzerland, and I have been democratically elected by the people of Switzerland. On top of this, this is my 4th term in total, which increases my legitimacy. To get to the point, the official channel recognized by the Swiss government is #eSwitzerland, and the forums are those found on http://forum.ehelvetia.ch/. Now, to comment on what Mr Burns mentioned, I believe he abused Renouille in a PM and Renouille reported that PM, hence it can be traced. To sum things up, I believe that should people want to register on a forum, or spend time on IRC, they would want the offical channel sanctioned by the Swiss government, and the channel and forums where the government is located. I highly doubt people who want to know where the Swiss IRC is simply to talk to Mr. Burns. It is however much more likely that they wish to communicate with the official and elected government. As such, I ask that the official channels be put in place, and not some alternate channel which was set up becase to Mr. Burns was wrongly feeling oppressed. I am not forcing Mr. Burns to join the official channel, however it is only fair for players wishing to communicate with the government to be indicate the proper communication channels. Thank you. --Eleriel 14:57, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Reponse : The official forum and IRC is eHelvetia and #eSwitzerland. The other forum and IRC are the one of the PTO group. This page is very useful for ambassador, therefor I would be really annoying if when some ambassadors who want to come on the official forum arrive on the fake one... Thanks to recognize the official forum and IRC mr.burns :)

Answer to your lies: Eleriel, you're elected from EDEN guys and bots. Your official forum is only your own profit machine (look the link of the frontpage http://www.ehelvetia.ch/ in link "site official": http://www.erepublik.com/en/referrer/Eleriel). You will earn money with your faked forum. You and your admins have many times edited and deleted user posts illegal. The people of Switzerland have enough of this illegal methods and want leave your forum. And your 4th term isn't a legitimation, it's only a good coordination from EDEN, that you get this position and can say: Switzerland is EDEN. But Switzerland isn't EDEN, the Congress and the people of Switzerland have elected a constitution, which say the condition for join alliances (it's CoC conformed, you reminder? it's your constitution). And you have not success this conditions. And your forum is not official, because the Congress has elected by law the official forum and IRC channel (based on the constitution). And your comment about Renouille is a joke. You have worked with Renouille, or why you have edited this page after I have Renouille said: We both get a ban.?

The official forum of Switzerland is http://eswitzerland.freeforums.org/ and the official IRC #eCH. The other forum and irc is from the PTO group. Eleriel has already stolen the treasury of Switzerland and not given it to the next elected president. We have already send ticket to the admins and the process is still on pending.User_talk:C. M. National chat rooms

National chat rooms no longer exist for some time and still there are a list of them in table (column Chat). That column should be deleted because there is no purpose anymore. --Dalibor 19:48, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Done. --AndyCro Icon-Croatia.png Click here to talk with me baby! ;) 14:43, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Belgium

Is it normal that unofficial forums are added in this list? I suggest that the unofficial forum, that isn't recognised by the eBelgian government or congress, is not mentioned here. It can be mentioned in the wiki page of eBelgium, like it is done now. NLSP

It's completely normal that unofficial forums and IRC channels are in the list too. --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 10:13, 14 September 2011 (PDT)

Norway

The national IRC channel of Norway has been moved from #eNorge @ QuakeNet to #eNorway @ Rizon. This was done to increase mobility between the Norwegian and other foreign communities. Unfortunately the page here is protected, so I'll be adding it here, hoping it won't get deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stakerauo (talkcontribs) on March 1, 2014

Egypt

In Egypt there is only IRC as official. Many problems with forums in the past, two owners had blow up two forums, and many "official" forums working from different political groups and affinities.

The IRC channels are on Rizon: #erepublik.egypt #egypt #mofa.egypt

Others seem to be lost and unregistered. --Ali Gual Keep it real Icon-Egypt.png Contact me \o/ 08:35, 10 April 2015 (PDT)

Table a bit changed

Huge update of the table finally is up, with small changes to the table itself... Hope you like it, I have done some small tweaks. And also, on some links not working is written, I will try to find which one is new, and that one will be removed. --AndyCro Icon-Croatia.png Do you need assistance? Then ask me! ;)) 14:58, 10 April 2015 (PDT)

I do not agree with your update: this page is called 'Community communication' and was intended to only collect the international channels for every community, not their internal ones or foreign affairs ones.
Since the goal of the page has been changed, I require a vote to be casted on this edit and the name page to be changed accordingly.
