Major Edit
I don't like touching articles with a {{InUse}} tag on them. Is this still undergoing the edit it was placed there for, or should the tag actually have been {{current}}? Battle for Serbia probably needs to be merged into this one, and InUse might keep it from being updated by some other editors. InUse basically says, "don't touch, please". -- Citizen 6 Talk 08:52, 4 May 2011 (PDT)
- The {{InUse}} was probably forgotten. It has been around for a few days. -- V3n0M93 | Talk 08:57, 4 May 2011 (PDT)
Parser
FYI, parsers will be a problem with long belligerent lists. Particularly if BattleRow is used in the content. My own way of addressing it is by not including every flag in the war box. All those flags are not really needed, just the countries actually exchanging regions are required - or those mention specifically in the article. MPPs should be mentioned in the text, if needed, or by alliance flags in the box. Just a suggestion. -- Citizen 6 Talk 08:59, 4 May 2011 (PDT)
- Are you sure that there are parsers in the belligerent lists. I think that there are parsers only in the battle list. I do agree though that the MPP list looks ugly. Most articles include only the countries who are in a direct fight. I don't think there is a need for all those countries. -- V3n0M93 | Talk 09:34, 4 May 2011 (PDT)
- I'll leave that to the techies, because in truth I don't know for sure :-). But my understanding (which is probably wrong) is that multiple templates {{ }} might cause it, perhaps in all the ((CountryFlags)). But like I said, I'm not much of a code guy (only a little). But I should say that I have seen that parser message a few times and I'm not sure if it always whacks thing out anyway. But long boxes do also kink out the battlerow, so I personally like them short and sweet. Otherwise we have to fill the space with content to get it looking right and flatten out the battle list. -- Citizen 6 Talk 09:52, 4 May 2011 (PDT)
- From what I gather the function which checks if there is a map for the region uses 6 parser functions. If there is no map it goes through all of the functions and when it reaches 100 you get the "Pages with too many expensive parser function calls" message and no parser functions after that work. I talked with John F Baker, but there is nothing he can do(User_talk:John F Baker#Battle_Template). A way to fix it is to upload a map for every region and then there wont be any problem with the parser function unless there are like 100 battles. -- V3n0M93 | Talk 10:03, 4 May 2011 (PDT)

Move
I think we should move this to EDEN invasion of Serbia to keep with naming using lower-case "i". Should we just port it over and redirect, or do a move through admin? BTW, I don't know how to do a formal "move", nor am I sure if it will auto-redirect links from other articles. Not sure best way to handle this. -- Citizen 6 Talk 02:21, 9 May 2011 (PDT)
- Moved. -- Grzechooo drop a line 04:38, 9 May 2011 (PDT)
wiped?
Just curious, not sure if is gonna happen here, but has Serbia ever actually been wiped before? -- Citizen 6 Talk 20:41, 13 May 2011 (PDT)
- Yes. In 2009. Croatia attacked Serbia and conquered most of its regions. Serbia made an agreement with Bulgaria and Bulgaria conquered the last two Serbian regions in order to close the war between Serbia and Croatia, The two regions were later returned to Serbia. -- V3n0M93 | Talk 00:56, 14 May 2011 (PDT)
Name
Should the name be changed. It is 99.99% sure that Serbia won't be conquered. Now that Croatia signed a peace treaty with Serbia, the war will be just Serbia vs. Bulgaria which most likely will end with Bulgaria getting conquered. So I thing that the war should have an another name. Any suggestions? -- V3n0M93 | Talk 09:45, 27 May 2011 (PDT)
- -1 - I would say the name still works, the invasion just failed to wipe. EDEN did take them down to one territory but even if we change it, it should still include other EDEN nations. But this war has been neglected and it would be a good idea to fill in the holes if possible. -- Citizen 6 Talk 14:43, 27 May 2011 (PDT)
- Yeah, thats kind of irony of it. But if you consider that all wars are essentially X invading Y, and should X lose we don't change the name, I'm not sure we should do it in this case. The war names that use invasion are so far joint or alliance wars and it seems that is why invasion is used as the name. Was there another name you would like to propose? I can't think of one, but if you have something in mind we can look it over. War names aren't set in stone, so if you got something more fitting... -- Citizen 6 Talk 05:49, 28 May 2011 (PDT)
- Another option would be to split the arty out after Serbia began attacks beyond their Orig Terr, but to be honest I got pulled away tracking other wars and I'm not tracking this one closely. Would like to get it updated though, same with 2Baltic. -- Citizen 6 Talk 05:53, 28 May 2011 (PDT)
