Creation references

  • Hungary also commented on the creation, might be useful for referencing: Hungary
  • Latvia's is probably less useful, but anyway: Latvia

Page name

Shouldn't this page be "PHOENIX"? --Belea2008 17:58, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

he doesn't think so --Mini "Template" Bill Icon-Italy.png bother me! 20:35, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

This page should be Phoenix, not PHOENIX, because Phoenix is not an acronym. --Kitchen.Sink 9 December 2009

Fine. As you say. It is referred in the majority of articles I have read with all capital letters, but if you say otherwise; so be it. All alliances have all capital letters. --Belea2008 10:07, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

PEACE, ATLANTIS and EDEN are acronyms. Fortis, Sol and Phoenix are not.--Martin23230 19:21, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Bulgaria

It is assumed that Bulgaria has joined Phoenix because of this article: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/the-rising-phoenix-welcomes-bulgaria1-1084197/1/all

Yet, Bulgaria has not officially signed the contract: http://www.erepublik.com/en/forum/topic/143196/the-alliance-contract/5 --Kitchen.Sink 12 December 2009

Ireland & the Map

The Republic of Ireland is not a member of Phoenix, nor does a Phoenix member currently occupy it. I have deleted the Phoenix map from the article, and will continue to do so, until someone removes Ireland from the map.

I will take this measure because I have looked at the file history logs, and someone who had previously removed Ireland had their work undone in subsequent edits. Brian Boru 15:34 GMT 5th March 2010

Why didn't you notice that user then? Removing the whole map because of reason such as this wouldn't be the first thing to pop in my mind, when fixing the problem isn't that much of trouble. It took me less than three minutes to copy gray Ireland from and old map and paste it to the latest one and then upload a new version, and it was something you could have easily done yourself. But the problem is fixed now and I have reverted the edit where you removed the file from this page so we're fine. Thank you for noticing this, have a nice day. --Icon-Finland.png Kuhaa|sTalk to me! 17:54, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Simple, because I didn't make the mistake, and your edit will most likely be undone again. We need a PHX editor to do this. Brian Boru
I don't fully understand your logic there, but what's important is that the file's fixed now and if someone keeps messing with it, we will notify the user uploading a wrong version and protect the file if just notifying isn't enough. The file's now on my watch list but if it get's changed to false version and I happen to miss it, feel free to leave a message here or on my talk page. But please don't remove the image from the page anymore even if this happens again. Thank you. --Icon-Finland.png Kuhaa|sTalk to me! 07:35, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

"latvia is out of phx"

I don't know if there's an official article regarding this, but I have an excerpt from what looks like to be an IRC log:

--- Doggett has banned *!*@EDC5F208.9FB34D81.C172459F.IP
00:04 *** amakatanav was kicked by Doggett (latvia is out of phx)
00:04 !!! You have been kicked from #ihs

Phoenix members map

I think it's very confusing as almost every country of eRepublik is marked in it as something. I (as non-native English speaker) get the feeling that every country is member of Phoenix from the text: "all-time expansion/memberships". Of course every native English speaker knows exactly what that means but I (as non-native English speaker) don't. And what's the point of putting countries you have once conquered on map? Couldn't it be written into the article? I understand if you put current and former members in the map, but putting every conquered country isn't really relevant. --Icon-Finland.png sampo555 | Talk 09:38, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
