The APP, (full name: The Alliance for Power and Prosperity) succeeds the British Democratic Party. The British Democratic Party was rebranded to The APP in April 2011 by Devoid. The logo was also changed.

APP stands for 'Alliance for Power and Prosperity'.

History

The original party was founded as The Real Democrats, a breakoff party from the Social Democrat Party after a controversial Party President election. Artela was the first Party president and the party rose to a solid 6th position in the party rankings. It was then renamed to British Democratic Party under Eric Ross's first term. The party got 3rd place in the UK rankings. The best it has ever been. In April the party was once again changed to The APP by Devoid, they are currently 4th place.

Party Policies

This is the list of all party policies from April 2011.

Military Policy

The military's organization as the situation stands today is just above abysmal. It is set up to get people involved and help them rank up a bit, which would be just lovely, if it could put out reasonable damage as well. But it doesn't. There are militias which can nearly match the output of the UKAF, and at a much cheaper price. Specifically speaking, we'll push for:

- Greater funding for the military. The economy may be strained (more on that later), but if we can get the military some proper capital, to invest in their companies, it becomes a self-sustaining boost. Under current economic rules higher-quality food and weapons companies are vastly more useful. If the government will front the gold for these improvements, our nation's firepower will increase greatly.

- A proper elite division. 1500 STR and occasional IRC activity does not make an elite soldier, but that's our highest requirement right now. Surely there are soldiers of a higher breed within the UKAF, who can and should be put to proper use. There are rumors of plans in motion to make this happen; we will see it through.

- Mass attacks. If the military wants to get people involved, this is a good step to take. Not only that, but our damage will actually count for something if concentrated. Win-win.

- Reformed supply. As it stands, the military passes out a certain amount of food to people each day. This happens whether or not there are important battles. If there are important battles, then soldiers get a little more. This system is wasteful in non-urgent times, and leaves us without enough supply and firepower when it matters. We'd do far better to save supply for when it matters, and then go at it with ferocity.

Recruitment and Retention Policy

Look at these population numbers They make us itch. We sure aren't the size we used to be. Other countries have stayed the same size or even grown, while we've shrunk to a fraction of our former size. If we hope to be relevant on even a regional scale, we need to attract new players, and plenty of them.

But more than just that, we need to keep them. We shall push to get newer players engaged and interested, and turn them into contributing members of this nation. It won't be an easy job, but we recognize that it is of the utmost importance. They're our future, and without fresh blood, we don't have a future!

Foreign Affairs Policy

We're not suggesting that we pick a fight with everyone all at once and we recognize that we're a quite small and disorganized country, and while we intend to fix this, it will take time. While wars are an important part of our ascent to greatness, we must pick and choose our battles. We must ensure that we have friends with us, and that we don't bite off more than we can chew. We will fight to see that those in charge of Britain's Foreign Policy manage it with an eye to both our short and long-term success.

Economic Policy

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but our economy is a basketcase. The currency's nearly worthless, and the government seems to always be broke. It won't do. This country deserves better, and we shall push for it.

Our protectionist policies have failed. Goods are overpriced and undersupplied. Our currency is weak. Hell, we have maximum tariffs on grain, a resource we don't even possess! This is madness, and it's making us poorer. We will work to fix this.

We will also take a full and critical look at our tax code on the whole. The government does indeed need revenue, but it must be extracted fairly and efficiently. Leaving money in the hands of the citizens, if the citizens are actived and engaged, will pay off many times over.
