On September 1, day 651 of eRepublik, a new unit was formed mainly military in Romania, called concisely The Group, founded by Kristache, Grinch85, alex201. Although aimed primarily military's damage by maximizing its members, The Group will initiate and support activities to support national interests in all areas possible. The group will be funded by its founders and core will not appeal to the Romanian state funds. Funding line will remain secret for the time being not to jeopardize ongoing missions of the founding members. We intend to become a force numerically, but qualitatively. Discipline and organization are our fundamental principles applied in the strictest way possible. We apply different methods of recruitment and selection come from existing military units, though some of them may seem expensive or you will be too drastic. If that happens then surely we don't have common goals.

Operation Waffle

This operation was started by a Romanian group called 'The Group' on October 23 2009 and was later on joined by American Seal Team Six and other EDEN forces. Their intention was to liberate Belgium, or at least Flanders. Their true purposes with Flanders are still unknown. Flanders was liberated and congress was largely taken by Romanians (6 against 4).
Battle for Flanders
On November 5 EDEN forces started resistance wars in Brussels and Wallonia.
Second battle for Brussels
Second battle for Wallonia
Heavy fighting was there. In Brussels EDEN forces just won the fight, in Wallonia the Union won the fight. Many citizens left Brussels to relocate at Wallonia. The presidential elections in Belgium were won by alex201, member of the Group not active in media at all. But the Benelux Party was second only 20 votes behind.
