Political Party Membership

Flag-Austria.jpg Austria

  • 25px Osterreich Independence Party (also Austrian Independence Party pre-March 2010 and Liberal Party Osterreich pre-June 2010) - The Osterreich Independence Party (OIP) was undoubtedly Thomas765's biggest success. He became a congressman and the president of Austria through the party and also became Party President for two consecutive months. He participated in the Party Presidential elections in June 2010 against someone who appeared to be wanting to takeover the party and he won having received a total of 14 votes, against his opponent's 2 votes. The next month there was no candidate to go against him and so won another month as the party president and successfully led the Osterreich Independence Party in both months to gaining more than a quarter of all congress seats in Austria.

  • Peace 'n' Prosperity Party Peace 'n' Prosperity Party - Thomas765 moved to the Peace 'n' Prosperity Party in November 2010, volunteering to help Albert Neurath get another vote in the Party Presidential elections. He remained there for the congress elections and became a member of congress, representing the party on the 26th of November 2010.

Flag-UK.jpg United Kingdom

  • Party-United Kingdom Reform Party.png United Kingdom Reform Party - As soon as Thomas765 obtained citizenship of the United Kingdom on the 12th of December, he was recommended by deVillefort, then MoFA of New Zealand to join the party. After two failed attempts at congress in both North East of England and East of England, Thomas765 placed his candidature in London and got his own personal voting record in the game, at 36 votes. He's won every election for UKRP since. In April 2011, Thomas765 became UKRP President. He became the party president once again in July 2011 and saw the party become the largest party in the United Kingdom on the fifth of August, overtaking TUP. He ran again in August 2011 after receiving popular backing. However, in October 2011, after feeling demoralised by the new party leadership over its treatment of its loyal members (notably Margaret H Thatcher, Arthur Wellesley, Top Hat Harry and Diakun were threatened or forced to leave the party). Thomas joined The Unity Party after becoming a congressman in the West Midlands one last time in October.
  • Party-The Unity Party.png The Unity Party - Thomas joined TUP when he left the UKRP after a variety of incidents that led up to that day. TUP were keen to see Thomas in the party and voted unanimously to let him in when then party president, jinnb began a poll. TUP saw him as a viable presidential candidate for the December 2011 election and wanted to test his popularity in the November congress elections, seeing him win the most votes in the eUK. He was then put up as TUP's CP candidate, winning the election against Every Single One's mittekemuis by around 30 votes.

Flag-Poland.jpg Poland

  • 25px Narodowa Demokracja - Thomas joined this party after trying out other parties in the Polish top 5 but he also saw that his friend, magic hereos was once a member of ND, so he joined. He first got involved in the party in the January congress elections, mobile voting for them.

Flag-Sweden.jpg Sweden

  • 25px Nationalgardet - During the month of February, Thomas was asked to come to Austria in order to ATO but as soon as his job was fulfilled by the 21st of the month, he moved to Sweden and was given citizenship. Due to his connections in Sweden, Kain Propan and Valnad, being part of the party and as he admired Scandinavia wholly, he joined Nationalgardet where he was permitted to run for congress in Gotaland.

Newspaper

Thomas765 has his own newspaper that he used to occasionally broadcast news. Almost all of the time his articles are based on events in eRepublik rather than being used for comical purposes. His newspaper started off as the American Globe when he bought his own newspaper while in the USA. When he moved to Austria it was changed to Der Bote (meaning, "The Messenger") to fit in with the local language and culture. A little less than a month later, it was changed to the Osterreich Journal which remained until September 2010 when he moved away. When Thomas765 moved to New Zealand in October 2010, the newspaper's name was changed to the theme accordingly to "The Kiwi Times" but only published several articles under the name. It is currently called the "The British Observer" as he is currently in the United Kingdom.
