Tiacha is a former politician and muckraker from the United States of America. She is the former Party President of the Federalist Party, former Secretary of the Department of Education, former Chief of staff of the eUS and the former Congresswoman from Ohio, New Jersey, Texas, and Illinois. She now spends her time serving the eUS Military. As of September 18, 2012, she serves as Commandant of the United States Marine Corps.

The Goal of Good Governance

Political parties exist to secure responsible government and to execute the will of the people. From these great tasks both of the old parties have turned aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare they have become the tools of corrupt interests, which use them impartially to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics, is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.
(President Theodore Roosevelt, 1912.)

Observation and Early Years

Tiacha was invited to eRepublik by her real life friend, Royamen. She watched quietly as Royamen rose to power as mayor of Ohio. She considers Royamen to be her political mentor even though he's become somewhat inactive in recent time. She was amazed when he helped to bring a Q3 hospital to Ohio and knew that eventually she wanted to model any political move after his example.

Tiacha was originally a member of the USWP. She later became disenchanted by their lack of willingness to get new members involved as well as the machine politics which is a part of many major political parties. Tiacha soon wrote an article describing why she quit the USWP and why she avoided political parties in general. This was soon to change, though.

Tiacha finds a home with the Federalist Party

After months of lurking, Tiacha soon got bored of her eLife as a two-clicker. She swore off politics after feeling isolated by the USWP. She thought she would save up enough to start a business and continue her life in the eWorld in this way. Yet, out of boredom, one day in early October 2008, Tiacha went party hunting. Knowing she did not want to be a part of one of the top-5 parties because she felt she would get lost in the shuffle, she looked at minor parties. The Federalist Party immediately caught her eye. Their ideals were sound. After she joined, she was immediately greeted by then party president, Rise. She knew then, she found a true home where she could grow and prosper. This was only the beginning of a great relationship.

Tiacha fights against injustice

With the release of version 1, minor parties were given a major disadvantage. The admins changed the rules for Congressional elections. Only the top 5 countries in each country were allowed to run candidates for Congress. As a Federalist, she thought this was an unjust move by the admins. In response, she wrote an article criticizing the admins for this move. This article was widely voted up, reaching the front page of eRepublik. This won Tiacha the reputation of a true muckraker.

November 2008 Congressional Elections

In November 2008, Tiacha decided to step it up and run for Congress in her home state of Ohio. She ran a truly grassroots campaign, which ranged from using articles and PMs effectively. She was graciously allowed to run for Congress under the UCP ticket even though she was a Federalist. She ran against many hotshot Ohio politicians including, GoBucks of the USWP, Citizen Hem, former Party president of the America's Advancement Party, and her own mentor, Royamen of the Libertarian Party.

The battle for Congress was hard fought, but in the end, it ended in a 9-9 between Tiacha and GoBucks. Originally, the Congressional seat was awarded to GoBucks even though he had one less experience point Experience points than her. The admins later corrected this mistake and Tiacha was awarded the Congressional seat.

Tiacha's time in Congress

In Congress, Tiacha became known as a voice of reason by some and a person who liked to vote against the crowd by others. Despite the criticism by some, Tiacha always voted her conscious, what she thought to be in the best interest of USA, and her party views. Yet, this criticism followed her throughout her term in Congress. Yet, her willingness to vote what she thought was best won her a lot of respect by others.

Her best known move was her vote against the USA entering World War II. She was one of the three votes against the war (which ended in a 42-3 vote) and the only Congressman to publish her vote immediately. She published an article explaining her reasons why she voted against the war. Many dubbed her unamerican for this vote, yet, in the end, her vote was sound as the USA faced major inflation due to the war.

Tiacha, after a long fought term, decided not the run for reelection. In an article she explained her decision not to run for Congress in December stating Congress was nothing but "an old boy's club" where if you didn't vote what the old boys thought was best, you were deemed an outcast. Tiacha did not want to be a party of a Congress where free thinking was not accepted. As such, she fully endorsed GoBucks for the Congressional seat in December in the hope he would bring back integrity to Congress.

Tiacha's Return to Congress-February-April 2009

After a long absence, Tiacha decided to return to Congressional politics. She was successfully elected to Congress in New Jersey on Feb. 25th, 2009. She currently leads the Federalist caucus in Congress and is a crusader against the PANEC plan to raise taxes on all eAmericans. She came in second against Kyle321n in the Feb. 2009 Speaker of the House elections where she gained much support from the fiscal conservatives in Congress.

Tiacha was eventually appointed the Chair of the Government Oversight Committee in March 2009. There, she fought hard for government transparency. She is the author of the Public Information Act. The PIA strives to make citizens aware of how their government has spent their taxpayer money.

Tiacha has also worked hard to improve relations between the military and Congress. She brought together military and congressional figures to the bargaining table to work out a military budget as well as an allocation process. This lead to the eUS creating their first budget, a major step towards fiscal responsibility in the eUS.

The PrincessMedyPi/Tiacha Ticket

Tiacha ran as PrincessMedyPi's running mate on during the April 2009 presidential campaign. They ran a campaign based on improving women's role in eRepublik as well as a LULZ campaign. Many thought that the PrincessMedyPi/Tiacha ticket would have a good chance to beat USWP incumbent, Scrabman. Yet, due to a crowded field, Scrabman won reelection.

Tiacha’s time as Chief of Staff-- The Scrabman Administration

On April 5, 2009, Scrabman appointed Tiacha as his Chief of Staff. He hoped this move would decrease the partisan atmosphere in the nation at this time. Tiacha was a constant advisor to Scrabman and acted as a liaison in IRC on behalf of Scrabman. In her time as Chief of Staff, Tiacha helped improve Congressional/executive relations as well as control the aftermath of the Navy II scandal.

Tiacha leaves Congress- April 2009

Tiacha planned on running for third consecutive term in New Jersey on April, 25th, 2009. Yet, she was challenged by USWP candidate, Lowell Kennedy. Kennedy accused Tiacha of doing nothing good for Congress, saying she only produced "fluff", like the Public Information Act. Tiacha and her colleagues knew this was not true, as Tiacha has been one of the major pushes for budget reform as well as an improved military relations. Yet, due to this great insult by Kennedy, Tiacha decided not to seek another term. Tiacha cited Kennedy's disrespect, the increased partisan atmosphere in Congress, her dislike of the in game congressional election system, and real life commitments.

Tiacha returns to Congress--September 2009- November 2009

Tiacha returned to Congress on September 25, 2009. She immediately started her second campaign for Speaker of the House. In a close, but mostly partisan vote, she lost to USWP Congressman, Killing Time. Despite her loss, she gladly accepted the appointment to Deputy Speaker of the House for the September 2009-November 2009 term.

In her time as Deputy Speaker, Tiacha fought to return the power of the purse to Congress. At the time, Woxan, then the Secretary of the Treasury, controlled the Congressional Budget Office. This organization was supposed to be under Congressional control. Due to oversights and lack of knowledge by Congress of its own laws, Congress lost control of this organization. Tiacha fought hard to return the Congressional Budget Office under control of Congress. She also proposed an act to archive past Congressional laws, which later evolved into the eUS Code of Laws Act. Tiacha's Leadership in the Federalist Party

As of December 2008, Tiacha was appointed Vice President of the Federalist Party by Party President, Logomaster304. In her role as Vice President, Tiacha hopes to expand the membership of the Federalist Party and put a Federalist into Congress again in January 2009. She soon became interim President of the Federalist Party on Dec. 28, 2008 after Logomaster304 resigned his position. Alby took over the position after the January 2009 elections.

Tiacha was named the Federalist Political Director during the 2nd fingerguns regime of February - March 2010

Tiacha has obtained the honorary title of Federalist deity due to hard work and dedication to the Federalist Party. Federalist Party leadership often looks to her for insight and leadership in party affairs. She has returned to serving Federalist Party affairs in her role as Federalist Chief of Staff under bigcdizzle, Duncan Crowe, and Gnilraps administrations respectively (November 2012, January 2013, February 2013).

Department of Education

Tiacha was appointed Secretary of the Department of Education by the Justinious_Mcwalburgson_III/PrincessMedyPi administration on January 8, 2009. Tiacha hopes to educate new citizens in many ways. She was appointed for a second term in Feb. 2009 under the Uncle Sam administration. For more details on plans for the Department, check out this article

Tiacha is the longest serving Secretary of Education in eAmerican history. She has served in 5 administrations as Secretary of Education. (Justinious, Uncle Sam, Scrabman, Harrison Richardson, and Gaius Julius.) Tiacha is also the co-founder of North American University.

Tiacha's Military Career

As a Congresswoman, Tiacha was a member of the National Guard 1st division. She is currently the rank of Legendary Force. During her time away from Congress, though, Tiacha was a member of the Marines. For a time, Tiacha was a member of the elite 1st Armored Battalion.

Tiacha has made a quiet return to the eMarines. There she fights and serve her country after her retirement from politics. She served as the Lieutenant of the Marine's elite 1st Recon Company, 3rd platoon. Tiacha took at leave from the eUS Marines from September 2009- until early Feb. 2010. She's since returned to the Marines in Feb. 2010. She is the former company commander of Delta Company. On August 24, 2010, Tiacha was promoted to Lt. General and served as the Vice Commandant of the eUS Marines. She is the former Quartermaster General of the Marines (6/30/10- 12/23/10.) After e-dying, she returned to the Marines in 2012. She was quickly promoted to leadership, when she took over command of the Marines on September 18, 2012 when she assumed her role as Commandant.

Tiacha is a strong proponent of an independent military which fights for true allies. She models her command philosophy off of former Marine General, Lucius Varenus.

Tiacha's e-Love Life

Tiacha is a highly sought after e-lady. She has been in several e-marriages. Her first marriage was to Ian John Locke IV in early 2009, which quickly lead to e-divorce. From there, she e-married Kyle321n and lived a happy e-married life. When she returned to the game in 2012, she was saddened to find that her e-husband, Kyle321n was e-dead and she was left an e-widow.

She does not deal well with ePlayers. They will be bitch slapped on sight.

OMG, Tiacha has a life
