Background / Where I've Been
It's all on the right, so take a gander. I started on Day 637 - Green as the party I'd later be head of. My first contact with a citizen was with the inimitable Mercurius 100. He got a mail to me, just as he does for every newbie. After that, I found my way around best as I could until I get a newspaper...and THEN eRepublik really took off for me!
Early Days
At the time I was born in Indonesian-occupied Texas and had Indo citizenship. As a RL American this pissed me off to no end, so I immediately blasted articles into the ethers RAILING the fact I was Indonesian and telling anyone listening that it was just SHAMEFUL that a Texan could not be a part of the eUS! I was a loud mouthed embarassment, apparently, because I was told to contact Astra Kat G, the then-freshman Senator. When I did, she asked me a few questions and talked to a few people before granting me citizenship. I owe her my e-life! I was finally an E-Merican!
There wasn't much I knew in those early days except I wanted to get involved. I sent out another message into the ethers, this time on the eUS Forums, asking for help in getting to do something. Well, I didn't have to wait long because I was contacted by Drake Koeth of the Umbrella Research Party. I had volunteered myself for Spec Ops enemy infiltration and sabotage from within and he directed me to the URP's Operations Officer, Manong Rizal. She put me on a mission, declassified now, of spying on the eUK and reporting on their operations and motivations. It didn't go anywhere and the program was dropped. I learned alot in this month working overseas but when the party was restructuring I found myself without purpose and decided to go elsewhere.
Ambassador
I began this game wanting to be an ambassador, so after I left Umbrella, I immediately applied to be an ambassador of quality. b.k. blake was Deputy Secretary of Ambassadorial Affairs under Wade Seagraves, at the time and he got me a spot as Ambassador to Lithuania. I was overjoyed and eagerly set to the task of making an embassy and contacting the Heads of State and Ambassadorial Office there.
This work really got me interested in International Affairs that continues even now. I got to meet the President (Cawx) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs (NesimatoLT), as well as develop a friendship with the country's Official Press director, Akello. He's now the Director of Ambassadorial Affairs. During the 2 day crisis when Poland attacked Lithuania, these working relationships were strained and it was great to be in the mix, trying to coordinate some kind of response with Poland and our own Government, in handling this war in Lithuania.
Because of some differences in philosophy, I decided to move on from the Ambassadorial post and devoted myself more fully to my party that I had been lukewarm in for too long.
The Green Party
PaperBoat (AKA, a million aliases) brought me into The Green Party, as he was Chief Recruiter at the time. It was great getting to know folks from all over the eUS and some from RL overseas, too. I felt very comfortable with this tight-knit group and decided to stay for quite some time. I didn't have time to do much for the party at first because I was reading like mad trying to get up to speed on eRep backstory and mechanics, however it wasn't long and I was in the mix, taking over for PaperBoat under Kylero's stalwart leadership. I quickly found out recruiting was NOT my strongsuit and decided to run as Party president, newbie that I was! I laugh now because I know what the PP does and I had NO CLUE at the time.
Because Kylero was just acting as trustee of the party at the time, he graciously allowed me to run, after I told him of my great plans and demonstrated time and energy were apparent. He backed me for PP and withdrew from the race, saying that I was the future of the party. Having the endorsement of the PP and our lone Senator Astra Kat G and the active support of a few other party members we mounted a campaign that I honestly didn't know how to run. I was only 2 months old at the time and didn't know much about mass mailing, connecting with party members, or primaries to weed out ambush PTOs...and it showed!
Jimmy Loomis (I refuse to give him a link on my Wiki) was (as far as I knew) just some 2 clicking citizen that threw his hat in the ring for lulz. Imagine my surprise when he fought like a BEAST in my first PP attempt in October and won! I was totally unprepared for this subterfuge. In a race of personal insults, racism, sexism, and blatant vote buying, he won the Party Presidency and over his term, the party fell from the #7 rank down to #9. His complete inaction on behalf of the party for a full month and his stubborn refusal to step down just cemented the will power of the party faithful to back me for a second run a month later. This time, with the support of the other political parties and our unaffiliated friends, The infamous "Greens in Exile" recaptured The Green Party, transforming it into The Green Party, once again. And the whole nation rejoiced!
The Green Party is currently undergoing a metamorphosis into a new creature under the effective and exciting leadership of my new Chief of Staff, Sam Kraus! We've increased membership 20% and have new forums that are MUCH improved. The work continues...
Office of the International Database
Formerly the Office of Developing Regions under Chris Stanwick, Secretary of State Cerb put TheCrimsonPatriot in charge of compiling an eRep equivalent of the CIA Factbook together for use by the State Department. I LEPT at the chance to compile indepth reports on other countries and deftly reserved UK and Lithuania due to my background in those nations. I've also nearly finished one on Ukraine. If you would like to do this kind of work, let me know; I'll introduce you. We need more help.
Office of Militia Support
Once I read there was going to be an Office of Militia Support, I jumped all over it. After PMing Sydiot, I landed the spot as Assistant Director of the OMS. This was a dream job that I still love even today. Sydiot's wonderful to work with and has given me wide latitude with suggestions and action plans. My right hand man, Matthew Gallagher, is a great help in getting published in the OMS Newspaper, "A Well Armed Populace", those fabulous interviews we all love. We got public funding for Militia programs that meet certain criteria and also keep on top of the emergent militia movement. I've gotten to speak a bit with the Seal Team 6 Team, extensively with System0101 of the Eagles Militia and worked deeply with The Federalist Training Division, The SFP Bear Cavalry, and the emergent CO of the Easy Company Militia. There's talk also of a new wave of party-based militias inspired by the Federalist Party's initiatives. I hope it happens, soon.
Helping with publicity, coordination, cooperation and innovation has been immensely rewarding...and knowing the eUS can do massive damage cheaper than they could before...that's really cool! You guys that work in Militias are some of the most dedicated and hard working Americans I have had the pleasure to know!
Military
All this talk of the Training Corps got me really excited to join, so I did. After filling out the application I got assigned to the 1st Division, 11th Company, 114th Platoon of the Training Corps and progressed quickly and efficiently through the program and was met with an offer to get a promotion to XO and Sergeant Major in the same platoon I trained in. I was now my Lieutenant's second in command and took to the task of training new recruits with GUSTO and FIRE! A week later I was promoted to take his place and am currently the 2nd Lieutenant, Platoon Leader of the 114th Platoon. It has been my pleasure to serve under Colonel Relin and Captain Yume Shinnyussa, not to mention my good friend and mentor Boot1221 and my former XO, Jet Mech. All are excellent and devoted officers that do GREAT things in the Training Corps and I continue to learn alot from them.
I got to even handpick my own XO, Sergeant Major Adgeri. He's a real go-getter and I'm proud to have him with me!

Running for Congress
I am running for Congress this term and am in the process of getting endorsements and party support from the top 5. I would appreciate your voting for me in December's "Christmas Congress". Platform is under review and state is not yet decided. Will keep everyone informed.
