Even if he is away from home, he keeps having protagonism on the chilean internal affairs, as one of the most influent citizens of the nation, as clearly states that he was the original founder of Movimiento Americano Social, a gathering place for RL chileans that lived on Argentina, and who ever else wanted to join the project, back on August 2008, when Chile still didn't exist on the New World.
