Citizen Page Tutorial

From Bar/November2008:

Step 2 - create a template to be the skeleton for the pages (example: "Template:Tutorial" - you just copy the code from Template:Bar/2008);

Step 3 - create a different page for each tab of the tutorial (each section a different page and then you change the links in "Template:Tutorial").

I see. I don't think the current composition is as appealing as it was (Or as it should be), but I can see where you're going with it. I have some ideas that would help you save space while keeping the template easy on the eyes.

1. {{Bar/What}} takes up most of the space in {{Bar}}. Did you consider replacing {{Bar/What}} with a separate page to introduce editors to talk pages in general, with a special section for the Bar?
2. I don't think {{Bar/Announcement}} should be within {{Bar/Discussions}}. It doesn't really make sense for it to be there, and it looks squished, so to speak. Did you consider replacing "Remember to sign (~~~~) your comments!" with a link to the IRC channel, and removing {{Bar/Discussions}} altogether?
3. One last thing, want to try having {{Bar/What}} float over the bottom border of {{Bar/Header}}, but not fully inside? Having the whole thing inside of {{Bar/Header}} kind of contrasts the way {{Bar/Discussions}} floats over it.

Template:Sausage/Words

Have a look at this.

Do you think that the list of words the template uses should be openly viewable? Although having a list will increase effectiveness in it's use, it might be much easier for a bad faith editor to covertly insult someone by abusing it. Of course, the same bad faith editor can just edit the page to see the unabridged list of words, but some might not think of doing so when quickly glancing at the page.
