Makes no sense to me for their to be a LOW amount because even the pages in eRepublik say No Resources when there are NONE. This to me is backwards thinking, but not surprised as to how everything by the ADMINS has been handled and worked. Making the changes now in South Africa, back to LOW.--Zagarius  20 March 2009

It's Extension:RawMsg - it's bugged. The team will remove it, but the two buttons Back eRepublik and Create account will not work if it is removed. They are thinking at a solution to remove the Extension and to keep also the two buttons. The header will be fine in a few minutes (after a lot of refreshes). Religion Policy

Geo, I would like to deploy the religion policy on June 1. We had no objections to the policy in the bar. Where should the policy go? Is it a sub policy of the fictional policy? Should it stand on its own so that people see it? Also, I assume "asking for community approval" would happen in the bar. Although it is a "sub policy" of the fictional policy (it has to respect EREP:FIC also), I think that it should be on a separate policy page.

Asking for community approval:

• in the Bar - not such a good idea, because not anyone is interested in these debates;
• in the talk page of religion page - not such a good idea, because these debates can be lengthy;
• in a sub page of the religion policy - yes, for every community approval process, and placing a note on the talk page of religion page about the result.

I have no more ideas at the moment. My only wish in this whole process is to avoid childish religions or religions that are made just to make fun of others. Anyway, after the policy is set in place, the current "approved" religions need to be revised.

Ok, I think we are of one mind on this. I too don't want this to be childish and petty and mocking of other people. So I plan on being hyper critical of everything I read and asking others to do the same.

• Good idea about where to have the debates. But I think a notice about them should go into the bar.
• As for revising "established religions" will Churchism, Dioism, and Lidoxia pass the test? I am thinking one might not (as per an earlier bar discussion about it).

Why can we use redirects?

Hello. I see redirects what have been eliminated. What is the criterion of creating redirects? Can the party abbreviation to redirect the party's article? Kojie (Write me (Escribeme)) 09:49, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Some party abbreviations that were already in the wiki were recreated as redirects (CyD, DNS, MSAP) due to their frequent usage and not wanting to make editors fix 60+ links. In the future, we ask that users do not create redirects with party abbreviations because there are so many parties in the New World, the abbreviations become confusing. If a user wants to use an abbreviation and link it to a party name, it is suggested they write it like this [[Black Lion Front|BLF]] to get this BLF. If there is more than one article to an article title, like Peace (Dioism) and PEACE (GC), or multiple party names with the same abbreviation, we could create disambiguation pages. Those are always useful, organized, and help in finding specific articles. I see some old disambiguation pages have been deleted or messed up a bit since I left the wiki, what happened?

A redirection page would be the way to go in some cases. However, in general, people should be discouraged from using abbreviations in this wiki as they are in wikipedia. They make articles hard to read, they confuse the templates, and the categories. I'm saying this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_(disambiguation) would be more useful than a redirect which ignores all other uses, or simply nothing at all. I agree, most wiki users don't know about disambiguation pages but that's where we come in :D
