Re: WikiProject Military

Sorry, the notification of your comment ended up in my email's spam box. I first got involved with the project because you noticed my obsessive editing of the giant list of battles during WW3. Then, it was decided during the project that these were "useless lists of numbers", and that we needed to make them collapsible. Then, the page ran into some sort of memory error, someone was going to talk to a wiki engineer... I stopped paying attention after about a month of nothing. Since then, the military has remained my primary area of involvement, but my interests have shifted. I'm no longer interested in battle numbers, and tactics have gotten more complicated. If the project would benefit from work on security, intelligence, different branch's training systems, general hierarchies, and military non-combat groups (things I've dealt with since the last time we spoke), I could assist. --Mjb Silent 18:16, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

BUG on erep

OK, I wouldn't bother you, but there are in fact two bugs:

1. Ticket system is not working
2. Because of that, I have to report a bug told by Doggett about donation system. On this image you can see that he managed to donate 50 items in the same time. And also, the image next to the grain is wrong. Maybe it is the problem in the script that he is using. Could you forward/see what is the problem and give me the feedback? This is really stupid...

Ok Belea, I have to know, should I update the articles or not? I mean, there is no more articles in insider, things are being implemented and removed without any notices... What the hell is happening? Where is ingame chat? What the hell is now Strength? Why do I have to write the article by "feeling"? I mean, I am upset again in few period of time and for what? This was once a great game and than it is constantly becoming something terrible. Why? Poor communication between Admins and wiki editors and Admins and citizens. Point taken. Regarding the next 4 weeks:

• Media will remain static. No changes here. If changes appear, I'll let you know.
• Military - core features - fighting mode - remains static. No changes here. If changes appear, I'll let you know.
• Military - attack rules - will be changed next week. Today, I'll post in the Bar the updates.
• Politics - will remain fairly static; it is possible that a new law is introduced for presidents (related to the military module).
• Economy - completely revamped.

Also, today - information regarding resources will be updated. I'll let you know in the Bar about it.

Regarding specific topics, I can't keep up. There were days in which 3 changes were implemented one after another. Like I mentioned somewhere in the Bar, the current version is far from being a stable one.

Another idea, Rising will disappear completely. Almost nothing of it will be kept.

Redirect guidelines

Noticed you axed a number of my redirects. No biggie. Is there a policy page on this topic? Some of those did violate the acronym rule, but others didn't, and were designed to help editing because of spelling, etc. Is there limited space on the wiki, or some other rationale for not allowing helpful redirects? Also, on the acronym issue, do you know why there is no disambiguation page for these? It is pretty standard to have disambig pages to combat the multiple use of acronyms. Three Pillars

I could maybe dig something up on that, but it was before I was born and unfortunately eRep archiving is essentially ... well ... here on the wiki. I can try, but can't make any promises. Maybe an older editor can assist. Right now, what I know is at United_States_of_America/History/Year_3#The_Three_Pillars_Campaign, and I didn't write it. I'll put it on my list, but I have at least three projects running right now ... World War V, USA-Poland War, Category:Wars organizing by year, USA election updates, iNCi (which is pretty much done for now), Portal:USA, and an idea I have been working on for my own in-game character :-P. Error with rank images

As you can see few lines down, the rank icons with stars on their name don't work if you try to add a size for it (in most of the cases; sometimes it works and I have no idea why). Can you tell your tech guys to check it out when they have time.

Few examples (errors in scrollable boxes so that it looks better):

• [[File:Icon_rank_Field Marshal**.png|15px]]

• [[File:Icon_rank_Field Marshal**.png|20px]] --> (Same image, different size)

• [[File:Icon_rank_Legendary Force**.png|20px]]

How fast do you approve new accounts?

Daily. The only requirements - have an in game account with the same email and confirm that email. The only "issue" is that the majority of these requests end up without the email being confirmed, thus, not being approved. --Belea2008 15:44, 18 May 2011 (PDT)
